Not the best
So I am a huge fan of urban decay cosmetics but this product is a disappointment. It feel great, easy to apply but it smudges and you have to sharpen it very often. I got this is couple shades and they don't last. Very disappointed in urban decay. Out of all their cosmetics I never had any complaint until I tried this
Really good eyeliner Glides on super smoothly and looks neat. The only problem I have with it is the price. You can find similar eyeliners for a lot cheaper, and if you're willing to spend a lot of money on an eyeliner there are more expensive ones that are much better quality. But it's still good quality and I love the double sided ones with 2 colors.
Zero is a rich, demi-matte black (not as rich or black as it's deeper cousin, Perversion, though). Like other UD pencils, it feels creamy and smooth on the lash line, and didn't drag, skip, or migrate. I got the color I desired in one pass. It also shows up darkly on the waterline. I achieved perfect wear for 10 hours, and great wear on the waterline for half that time. Black liners are a dime a dozen nowadays, so it's so important to find one that does things right. Zero is a perfect, wearable option. LOVE!

HORRIBLE!! Why the hype?
I tried to love Zero. It was the least pigmented black pencil I ever used. My Milani LiquifEye pencil in black was 10x more pigmented, creamy, and budge proof at half the price. I tried using Zero as a base and my eyeshadow started to melt off, not just crease! It didn't even draw color onto my waterline. Actually, non of them do. I tried this as a basic liner on my lower lash line and it faded throughout the day. I don't understand why these are so popular.
Some of the best as far as pencil eye liners go!
I got a mini pencil of Zero in my Show Pony Shadow Box many years ago (the set is discontinued but its on the BL database). I thought it was such an awesome addition to an eye palette- I was a MU noob at the time- and I loved how the mini fit snugly into the package. I used it up and liked it, and I think its great to be able to use a sample up before getting the real deal. That way you can learn about new products but not feel obliged to use something you realize you're not so hot about. Zero is a nice black, it glides very smoothly, especially on the water line and the consistency is creamy. I have been wanting to try out all the other fabulous colors that have been launched year after year- but if the original Zero, way before Perversion, is any indication of how good these are now, I'm in good hands, or eyes! :P
