Everyone needs a little extra insurance.....
......but this is t the answer. It's a good product, just not the best. I have had much better success with Urban's Primer Potion. This just separates too easy in the tube and when it comes out the product is actually quite 'runny.' Not a fan.
Didn't make the cut!!
With all the primer hype I've tried several and this one just doesn't cut it. It creases and leaves my lids just as oily as before. I think that UD primer potion or even just a maybeline color tattoo does the job way better.!
A little dab'll do ya
Great eye primer...just a dot per eye does the trick. Formula is very emollient, yet dries quickly to a soft matte texture. Eye shadow doesn't drag or pull over top, like a lot of other primers tend to do.
Pro tip: Once Shadow Insurance dries, lightly dust face powder over lids before applying eye shadow. This will "super set" your eye lids!
Fabulous
As a makeup artist who works on weddings, photo shoots and the occasional fashion shows, I need a product that REALLY holds eyeshadow and can endure perspiration and even tears. This product by far does the trick. I spent months (and buck$!) trying to find the best shadow primer, all of which I tried just didn't measure up, then I got this wonderful little product as a sample one day and have been a firm believer in it ever since. I don't know how I ever lived without it!
Very Good, but Not All It's Hyped Up to Be
I like this a lot. It does a good job of making eyeshadows more blendable and it does increase color intensity. It also helps with staying power. However, I think NYX eyeshadow HD base is better for staying power and just the same in increasing color payoff. Lorac Behind the Scenes eye primer is also wayyy better for staying power. I have light skin and the Too Faced gives me a slightly white cast on my eyes, which is ok if I cover it up with shadow, but if I'm not putting shadow on my whole eye or just using it for liner, it looks weird. The NYX and Lorac are better values. It works well, but there are others that perform better for a better value. The other downfall on top of the price is that this gets on my contacts when I use my fingers to apply, impeding my sight, and it's difficult to remove.
great
Totally love this product. I use it daily. Whether I go dramatic or soft it makes my eye shadows pop with lots of staying power. I will never use eye shadows again without it. I think everyone should at least try it and they will find it a necessity also to their make up routine.
I plan to buy it soon
I have not had the pleasure to use the product but I have seen how great it looks on my sister. So I plan on getting it real soon and by the way it looks I reccomend it to any one!
Decent Primer
This is a decent primer. It gets the job done and makes my eyeshadow show up better. I have noticed some creasing later in the day though after using it. Although I don't like the consistency as much as UD's primer potion.
Amazing. Long Lasting.
This was my first primer and I never had a reason to look farther! It makes my eyeshadow even more intense and the application smooth. I can definitely see a difference when I don't use it. It also makes my dramatic styles last the night-and I do put them through the test of dancing for 4+ hours. The look is as amazing as when I put it on. Love it. Totally recommend it.

My Go To Eye Primer
I have tried loads (and I do mean loads) of eye shadow primers, but I always find myself going back to Too Faced Shadow Insurance. It has great packaging, it evens out skintone without depositing too much color, it helps to intensify eyeshadows and most importantly...it stays put. All day. This is a staple in my kit!
