Great for Beginners
This in an excellent palette because it has everything necessary for highlighting and contouring, and I would say for me the biggest surprise is how much I used the cream blush (something that I don't normally do) but the shade is just so normal and adds such a warmth to your face I have to say it was my too faced best buy.
Highlighting for novices
If you want that KIM K highlighting and contouring this kit is it! There is everything you would want and all the textures without having to drag four or five different products. I used this for all the bridesmaids, mother of the bride and bride for a recent wedding and the pictures came out flawless. The two blushes- one cream and one powder can be used together or individually and the tutorial cards make it so easy for novices and experts alike to learn how to get the JLO glow. Love , love , love this product!
Summer glow!
I bought this natural face palette to begin experimenting with contouring and highlighting.. it had everything I thought I needed. Blushes, concealers, highlighters, bronzer, and instructional cards to try out different looks! It works really great in the summer time but I wouldn't recommend it for winter if you're fair skinned like I am. Even blending well into the neck you can definitely tell you're using a bronzing powder not a contouring color during the cold months. But if that's you're thing then use it year round! Great texture, easy application, easy to follow instruction if you need it! Good starter kit!
Reviewing on the part of my mother.
My mother is a 56-year-old dialysis patient. The dialysis has made her skin quite a bit darker than it's normal fair state and also more dull. This kit is an easy way for a makeup beginner to highlight their skin, conceal any imperfections, and give them a glow. Her only grudge against it is the price, therefore she only uses it for "special ocassions."
Such a cute, easy way to brighten your face!
I love this palette! I treated myself to a graduation/birthday gift and this was at the top of my list. The brighten makes my eyes look ten times more blue, and the concealer is very soft, creamy, and easy to apply. i love the luminizer, bronzer, and the two blushes as well. they totally brighten my face, and are very pigmented. this palette is perfect for summer :)
