We can never go wrong with a little Sugarpill Cosmetics! The most highly pigmented shadows ever, by the way once you get one you will be HOOKED!
Easy to blend eyeshadows for beginners, its an A+++++ :)

Seriously love this purple!

I only have one Sugarpill product but I adore it! It is sooo very pigmented it only takes just a little bit. Its a perfect purple, its not bluish as I've found many purple shades or sheer. I have been dying to try some of the other shades. This is right in with some of the very well know "big brands" because it is a wonderful value for your money!

Color payoff is OUTRAGIOUS!

Sugarpill was already one of my top "I need to try this" products, and Poison Plum caught my eye right away. The pigmentation is crazy, and I'm a sucker for all things purple. It does stain my lids, though, but I still adore it. Make up remover and a day later, and no signs of staining. I suggest using a base under the color, though, to help prevent staining. Foiled Poison Plum just can't be beat, but the color is perfect dry, too.

Serious Stain-age

I love sugar pill and have both quad palettes, but I cannot use poison plum with out it seriously staining my eyelids. So bad that no makeup remover has been able to take out the fuschia stain left behind. I want to use this every day but find my self reaching for something else because the staining is so bad.

I suggest: Use a good primer (Lime Crime is best IMO). Others don't seem to cut it when it comes to strong pigmentation. Although, any decent primer then layered with NYX Milk pencil over that will help make a great base for sure and really help pop the colors even more (if that's possible). Don't swipe the shadow on by brushing back and forth as it creates fallout, changes the sheen of the shadow but more importantly in this case rubs it into the skin. Pat the shadow on the lids and blend lightly instead. The first time I wore the shadow, I had that happen (used too faced shadow insurance). But not anymore when I prep well.
