looking for the perfect baby pink lipstick
so the beauty supply wear i get these from sells them for very cheap and i can always count on the nyx lipstick to get me out of a bind when i need something quick and low on cash the shades are great they are a lil more glossy than i like but for someone who like that this would be a perfect choice for them
I bought Strawberry Milk after buying Mac Viva Glam Gaga I and falling in love with the color. I kind of went on a light blue pink lipstick kick and thought this lipstick would be great since my other experience with NYX lipsticks was a good one (Diamond Sparkle Lipstick).
This lipstick is very, very creamy. So creamy that it makes it very hard to get an even application. Some parts of the lip will have a heavy concentration of color, while others will have hardly any on them at all. It also will show every imperfection or bit of hanging skin on the lip, so if you are going to use it, make sure your lips are well exfoliated.
Not So Great!
I bought strawberry milk as a dupe for Nikki Minaj's lipstick. It's such a great color but it's so difficult to apply. I've managed to get it to work on my lips but patting it rather than swiping it or using it straight from the tube. I have to use a lip brush.
I think they're too creamy and also have a water-like texture. I've never encountered a problem like this with any lipsticks before.
They aren't long lasting either. The lipsticks just slips off the lips.
Great affordable lipsticks
I need more of these lipsticks!
At the moment I only have the colour strawberry milk, it's a really pretty light pink. I generally dab it on my lips and blend it over with my finger. I do this so that my lips dont appear too light and washed out. The consistency is really creamy, and the colours are so vibrant than you dont need to apply a tone.
Pigmented! Moisturizing (some colors more than others)! CHEAP.
For $1,50, what more can you ask for? Good color payoff. It truly does come out to a pretty, soft strawberry milk :) I'd only recommend applying a lip balm first, and making sure your lips are exfoliated (you should do this anyways for any lipstick).
