One of the lucky ones

I don't have oily lids and the base matches my skintone, so it works well for me. I see it causes problems for other people, but I like it and use it often. So if you have oily eyelids, stay away, but if not, it does a good job.

Simply alright

This primer works well enough for a few hours but then creases later on. It is easy to apply with a finger and goes on smoothly. Eyeshadow goes on well, since I got the skin tone things don't pop too much. I only use this primer when I am trying out a new look and not going out. However, I am interested in trying the white.

I have this in skin tone and it does a really good job. I have oily lids and it doesn't crease smudge or budge, lasts all day. I actually like that it comes in a jar because you only need a very small amount

Great for the price!

I love this product as a base under my eyeshadows. I don't have really oily eyelids so if you do I'm not really sure how this will work for you. Its inexpensive, helps your eyeshadows 'stick' and show up more vibrant. This product really smooths out your lid and prepares it for your makeup application. The only reason I would take off a star is that is is packaged in a jar instead of a squeeze tube and the 'skin tone' shade may not work for deeper or lighter skin tones. All in all its a great product and I would recommend trying it for the price unless you already have an eyeshadow primer that works for you.

i heart.

Don’t have much to say about this primer other than that I love it. I have used urban decays before, which is supposed to be the best, but I didn’t like it. I find the nyx primer holds eye shadow better and makes the colors pop like crazy. Make sure not to pack it on cause it will crease. I like to use this and the jumbo milk pencil together. The thing about this product that throws me off is it has the consistency and look of mac concealer. Don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with that, but I'm starting to think they are one in the same.

Must have.

This product is perfect when using pigments, glitters or bright colors. And a little of this product also goes a long way. I still have not hit pan on mine. I always use the after applying my primer..

Good Base!

This eyeshadow base is great for being use a base or a primer for me. You do have to be careful not to pack on to much for risk of creasing. It matches my skin tone perfectly because it seams to a little bit of a darker base which is great for muting out any discoloration of the lid. It is inexpensive and comes in 3 different shades. Ive never tried the others but I will because this one was perfect!!

I am using this product solely because it is the only primer I have at the moment. It is best for concealing eyelids. As a primer, it's just ehh. While it does hold on to pigments pretty well, It definitely does crease! I would not recommend using it with white or light colored eye shadows.

This is a pretty good product. I got it for my school's homecoming so I wouldn't sweat off my eye shadow, and have my eyes look bruised by the end of the night. It's faily sticky and smooth, and good to apply with a finger or brush. I've stopped using it temporarily, because it's a fairly heavy product, and with it being summer, I just needed something a little lighter. But back in the fall, I will be using it again.

Great Under-Eye Coverage, But A Little Heavy

I am on the fence about this product. I have used this both with and without an eyeshadow primer (I used Victoria's Secret VS PRO Lasting FX Eyeshadow Primer). I have dark under-eye circles, some dark lines along the outer corner of my eyes, and occasionally some pink/redness on my eyelids, and I loved that the skintone shade takes care of my uneven skintone around my eyes. It doubles as a base and a matte concealer.

While it does keep my eye makeup vibrant for hours especially with primer, my eyes tend to feel very heavy toward the end of the day if I wear any eye makeup (my eyes get prematurely tired, if that makes any sense). It particularly felt even heavier on evenings that I was wearing this on my lids all day, and I suspect that it might be the texture of the cream formula, which is somewhat stiff in the jar and a little too drying on the skin over time. It helps to have the lightweight primers I have since they help moisturize my lids, but I do have heavy eyes as is, and really don't want to pile more different products on it and make it feel even heavier.

I love this product! Honestly each makeup artist or person applying makeup will achieve different results based on techniques. Unless its just a worthless product even cheap brands work well. Just because you pay more doesnt mean it will look better- the makeup does not apply itself, so the brand does not make itself look good-the artist does...just a thought. :-)
