PROFESSIONAL EYE BASE AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE!
I like this product. I mostly use the one in "Pearl" because I like my makeup at times to really sparkle and shimmer when the occasion calls for it. I love the price too. There about $6 in ULTA but I think you can get them a little cheaper on pinkholic.com or http://www.cherryculture.com
Great primer
this is my second choice of eye shadow primer behind urban decay. I really like this shimmery shade and it also works great as a highlighter. I do find that sometimes it creases but overall I think this is a great product for the price.
This is not my favorite. You definitely need to use a primer with this, as it will crease right away without one. I like having a white base to make colors pop, and this will do in a pinch. If you're looking for something with a low price point (around $5), this will work. But I recommend Nyx jumbo eye pencils for the range of colors and texture - I definitely find myself reaching for those more often. This has a very thick texture, which is not great for tender eyelids.
Dissapointed
I bought this the other day since the ULTA i went to was out of matte, and i heard good things about that one so i decided to settle for the pearl. I'm so sad to discover it doesn't really work out for me. I used it under some pearly eyeshadows (MAC naked lunch, Coppering and Paradisco) and it does make the colors brighter and intensify the pearliness but it made the shadow look scaly and creased. I mean it looked like my eyelids had tiny wrinkles, which wasn't appreciated.
Maybe it's due to the pearl effect that caused it to crease? I don't have oily lids either so i hardly get creasing with good quality eyeshadows. I plan on returning this some time this week, and exchange it for the matte white one. hopefully that will make up for this bases' lackluster.
I have this in Pearl and I want the other colors. I like these better than any primer that is applied with a wand because it is less "watery" and I have kind of oily eyelids so the watery ones just make it worse it seems. These kind of seem to be like the consistency of the jumbo eye pencils but depotted into jars which is more convenient
