Love this formula and shade.

Get it when you can! It's out of stock quite a bit. The color is a cross between a berry and a red. Never garish or harsh looking, lasts forever, and it's a pencil so you don't need 2 peices to get a finished look. It's a cream formula, so it doesn't dry your lips at all! Just a win, win, win!

Always fun to sin

I am new to this line of lip pencils but love the color Sin, I even like the name which might have been part of why I purchased it. I do find the color is just a few shades darker than my lips so with a lip gloss it's the perfect combination. I highly recommend these because they even come in a lovely tin with a mirror on the inside so you can slip that in your handbag and be ready to go to work or hit the town.

I bought both Sin and Love Nudestix Lip and Cheek Pencils

After reading the first review of the pencils I was ready to pick two colors so I went with Love and Sin because they are different enough to be useful for any evening event (Sin) or day (Love). They came to my surprise in a good size metal case that is an avant guard matt finish. And inside of each box was one pencil with a sharpener plus a mirror in the lid. So I put the two together in one box to save room in my makeup drawer. I commenced to play with Love first since it was the lighter color and made both the apples of my cheeks going into my hair line a perfect shade for daytime. The plus is the use of the same pencil to make my lips match and I did put a lipgloss in a very similar color over Love. I then moved on to Sin and was so excited to see the flush it created on my face as I put it on the apples of my cheeks and on into my hairline both on my cheek area and above my eyes as I blended over to the side of my face. I next found a color of gloss that practically matched the pencil so I used the pencil first on my lips and then applied the gloss. If I had been going out that evening the case would have been the perfect container to take both the Sin colored pencil and one of my lip glosses that comes in a long, rather thick applicator. I can't wait to buy a few more colors since these Nudestix are so perfect for me. I adore that they go on so easily that it's almost as a fairy had touched my face in all the areas I used either color. Plus the sticks are creamy so they blend well into the skin on my cheeks into the hairline both above my ears and over my eyes. If you haven't tried these pencils you're really missing out so don't be left behind! You can tell the most popular colors if you just scroll through and notice which are back ordered. I will promise you that Beautylish is wonderful about getting to you as soon as the product is back in stock so you can buy before it goes back out of stock.

Nice quality packaging and product, with some minor caveats

I was really excited to see Nudestix turning up at Beautylish. I had wanted to try them since I heard about them. I always like a product that doubles as a lip/cheek stain and I liked the look of the purplish red called Sin. The packaging is flat out ace. You get a real metal tin, in a dark matte black, that's big enough for four pencils this size and a sharpener (which is great because I love pencils and have a ton of them and will get ruined if you carry them in your purse) with a really good mirror in the lid. The sharpener is high quality, much better than my other sharpeners and gives a really good point on the product. The product itself is creamy and easy to apply and doesn't tug at lip skin like a liner usually does. It is fairly matte so it needs a gloss with it, I think. It lasts as a stain quite a long time, but will need reapplications throughout the day like most lippies. That's where the tin comes in handy I guess. The color works on me but if you don't like purple or fuscia, stay away from it. It's quite strong, not really a "nude but better" look. While it is $4-6 more than my other high end lip cheek products, the extras make it seem worth it. However, I don't think it's worth it unless you already are into pencil make up because the tin is kind of big really especially compared to my other lip/cheek products which are quite small. This is somewhat gimmicky, I think, which is why I'm taking away a half star. But it's still a good product.
