I have these in Bold Gold, Audacious Asphalt, Bad to the Bronze, and Too Cool. And while I absolutely love these for colored bases for my eye looks, they do not apply evenly in my opinion. Plus, at least for me, I can't wear them without a primer underneath because my eyelids get really oily and they crease on me. To be fair though, even MAC Paint Pots crease on me. I would like to see more matte shades soon, or at least some with finer glitter. I would like to purchase in more colors.
I cannot believe I haven't reviewed this yet.
I have Bold Gold, Bad To the Bronze and Tough as Taupe. These are my absolute favorite drugstore shadows. The color payoff is amazing, and is usually the same as it seems in the jar. The formula keeps them on your eyes ALL day until you remove them, and honestly, you have to try pretty hard to get them off! I wish they made a primer in this formula. I absolutely love it.
The Best Make Up Steal!
Even though i saw these in stores, I waited to see the reviews online before I was willing to try. So far the only colors I have tried are Bold Gold and Bad to Bronze. I really love the two colors that I selected! For anyone that owns the Naked 2 palette, both of these work wonderful as bases under the eye shadows from the palette. I use bold gold as a base color and then apply half baked on top, which really brings out the shimmer then use, then use busted as my cease color and chopper to blend it out. I have heard not so good reviews about the the purple one and I tend to stick to more neutrals eye shadow shades so i won't be purchasing. How can you go wrong, I understand being upset with a expensive high end purchase, but buying one of these compared to a paint pot is such a steal!
I had originally bought this eyeshadow because my sister had recommended it. She used the emerald colour for her prom and said it stayed on really well and did not crease. I found it very easy to use and it blends well after applying generously. It may just be because of my fair skin tone but I found I had to apply quite a bit to get the depth of colour I wanted. But I love the gold and I will be buying more as well!
This product is really good. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. Some cream/gel shadows I've tried don't work very well. This one, however, did an awesome job. It only creases a little after about 4 hours. I also wore it for 14 hrs (to see how long it would last) and the clour only faded a little. I defiantly recommend it, and plan to buy more. :)
I bought my first one in bold gold. I fell in love! Its pigmented, it came with great packaging and it only cost me around $5.45. What more can I ask? These go on smooth and stay on for the whole day! They have a lot of colors to choose from. I love how on lazy days you can easily just apply it with your fingers of brush and it easily stays and it completes your look without having the need to due more to it. Looks great for smokey look, or just a simple look. I love these and I would recommend to everyone!
I am super late on trying out the Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo!! I saw that they were Buy One Get One 50% off at Ulta so I used that as my chance to finally try them out.
Bold Gold is such a beautiful color. I did not put any primer on my lid because I wanted to see if the reviews were true that the color wont fade away and the verdict was good! So easy to apply and I did not need to layer the product to get a vibrant look.
I can't wait to try out the other colors. I hope they release more colors!!
