Poor quality

Luckily I received this brush for free in the Awaken Collection, I would be upset it I had paid $30 for it. After only 8 uses the bristles are uneven and shedding. It is difficult to clean.

it's the little things that make life luxurious

It can be hard to justify spending $30 on a brush that doesn't really "do" anything. I mean, my fingers can mix mud and apply to my face, or I can get another brush for cheaper from whole foods and just mix with that to apply to my face, right?

Not right. This brush works waaaaay better (than aforementioned generic brush or fingers) for applying May's problem solver (mixed with honey mud) and it makes the whole spa-at-home experience more relaxing. I even use this brush with other mud mask products, because not using it feels wrong. $30 well spent.

Another review mentions when washing it out, the bristles are hard and stiff.... yes, that happened to me when I didn't wash out the product properly. However, I kept rinsing the brush out with water, and after it dries, I just run the brush against the back of my hand to break up the bristles/ loosen it, and it's as good as new.

Not a good buy

I got this brush as part of The Awake Collection which includes the brush, The Honey Mud, Blue Cocoon, and Problem Solver. Thankfully I did not purchase separately because this brush is poor quality. I got 2 uses out of it and it is now hard as a rock and cannot be cleaned and loosened up no matter what I use to wash it. Thankfully the products are fantastic!

This is a luxe buy and not a necessity. Obviously.

It does the job, just in an oh-so-stylish kind of way. It cleans easily and the bristles are thick enough to hold, and evenly apply, the masks in the May Lindstrom line or any other line that you may fancy.

I love all things May Lindstrom, and this brush is among the long list of loves.

nothing special

theres nothing special about this brush really.. its just a facial brush. it's pretty hard to clean, it seems no matter how much i rinse it, the water still looks dirty when i squeeze the bristles. however, if you dont want to get your hands dirty and want easier application of a mask, i definitely do recommend it. if you already have one, don't get this one!

i dont know about facial/mask brushes, so i have nothing to compare it to, but this does feel pretty cheap. overall, its good to have one if you don't already.
