Paint Pot - Groundwork

groundwork is positiveley an all over lid color its just a must have product expecially if your like me when your to lazy to do your makeup its just a lovely wash of muted toned brown

Groundwork was a bit of a disappointment for me. I was hoping for a color that was a match for my skintone but this one is a little chalky on me. Overall, I do like the Paint Pots, you really only need a tiny bit and they last a long time. However, I prefer the new 24-hour color tatoo's from Maybelline. I'm probably going to give my Groundwork to a friend and stick with my color tatoo's.

Best eye shadow base ever. I love this way better than the urban decay eye shadow primer. When I wear this base my eye shadow last all day and it don’t crease. Plus I have oily eyelids so it’s usually hard for me to find bases that last.

This is a staple to my daily beauty regimine.

It's a matte base eyeprimer that I put on top of my urban decay eyeshawdow potion primer to keep from creasing. Sometimes I'll use my finger to apply or I'll use my Mac #249 brush. Next for my highlight I use Rice paper, then saddle mixed with texture for my best friend color, then brown script in the crease, and I follow with Naked pigment on my lid. Sometimes I'll do a darker color on my outer for a more dramatic look but not too dramatic.

Love this as a base for other eyeshadows and also works well on its own. Groundwork is a neutral color but I would love to try other colors as well.

i use groundwork for every look i do as my base..it grabs any color well and makes shadow last all day..no creasing from the oils in your eyelid..no touch-ups necessary

My first and only eye primer!

I have never had my eyeshadows crease on me whenever I use groundwork as a base. Trust me when I say it has stood the test of time throughout the day at work. I've danced the night away at nightclubs and my eyeshadow did not bulge. Had mine for a few years and has yet to dry out. I plan to purchase the other colors.

Love it!

I can not walk out the house without it. I wear it alone for the most part with a little bit of eyeliner for an every day look. It effortlessly helps to spice up my face without wearing serious makeup. Just a dab and go.

I have a lot of these paint pots, but Groundwork was the first.
When I purchased this I was just coming in to buying MAC. At first I was what else am I suppose to do with this...LOL After some practice, I LOVED IT! I use it as a primer sometimes, and sometimes as a base, it works gr8 either way! They make my colors pop, and long and barely creases The other paint post are just as gr8...

I absolutely love this product! It's so creamy and smooth and works amazingly as an eye base before your shadows. I use Groundwork which is closest to my skintone and with it, my shadows stay on my eye for HOURS. I accidentally fell asleep on night with my make up on and when I woke up the next morning, my eye shadow had NOT BUDGED! I hope I can buy some of the other colors to use as cream eyeshadows because they are so great! I would deff reccomend this product to everyone I know simply because it is such a great 2 in 1 product! Eye base AND cream eye shadow.
