Mineralize Skinfinish Natural - Light

I absolutely adore this product. It was recommended to me by the women and the makeup counter on account of my oily skin and I'm so glad she did. It never looked cakey and matched my skin perfectly. No orange at all which is big for me since I have such fair skin. I went to repurchase it and the women and a different Mac counter gave me the wrong powder! It was out of town so I didn't return it and I'm dealing with this one but I sure do miss this one.

love it !!!!

i just purchased this to use for highlighting. i was really surprised at how soft and smooth it feels and looks . it blended right in with my other foundation and powders i was using at the time. the mac artist is the one who showed me that she uses it for a highlight powder and i am hooked.

My desert island product

Literally, if I could only possess one makeup product for the rest of my life this would be it. I use it over liquid foundation: it sets it, it blurs harsh lines, it gives me a subtle and diffuse glow that I have never before in my life had with a powder. I also use it by itself on "bare" days, and the results are flawless. Since I started using it strangers have been stopping me and asking what I put on my skin! I would have to commit suicide if this ever left the market. For realz.

I love this, Its light and easy to apply over my foundation giving me not an oily look from the foundation! I press the powder on with Mac Brush #150 so It goes on smoothly! I love it! Its expensive but personally well worth it!

On the fence!

I love MAC products and the way they feel on my skin, especially the baked powders feel wonderful. But, I'm not a huge fan of powders at all, I don't find them flattering on my skin and I just look cakey and it really exaggerates my pores actually as well! I do think that this is the best powder I have used though, but I can't put it on my nose or the pores just like slap you in the face screaming "LOOK AT ME".
This review sounds really negative but it did do a great job of keeping my makeup in place without creasing at all, and it would last all day. I completely used it up and it's now sitting in my back to mac draw, it's not often that I do use up a product to the very end so that in itself has something to say about this. :)

better than bare minerals

I've been using Bare Escentuals for about 3 years now, and recently after getting more into makeup I realized that it was oxidizing/too dark for my skin even in it's lightest shade. It was also flaking and creasing a lot. Still not ready to paint up my face with a liquid foundation, I found myself at my local MAC counter to check out this powder that I had heard rave reviews about..mostly as a setting powder, but doable as a mineral powder. The employee set my undereye area with this stuff..and the finished product was like nothing ive ever experienced. No creasing, no flaking, no caking. I immediately bought it, even though I hadnt tried it out on my face. Just because it looked that good under my eyes (something ive struggled with forever).
Next night, I officially tried it for the first time with my bare minerals Flawless Face Brush, and the coverage was so much heavier than bare minerals...I would say it's absolutely high coverage, depending on what you use to apply it with. The FFB is a very dense face brush and I would dig it a little bit into the compact to get a bit more product, and then just press it into my skin...I had no need to use any primer or set it. I have combination skin and it left a beautiful velvet matte finish. The coverage is so full that it even diffused a lot of my beauty marks (even though I wasnt even trying to). I've only used it one day, so I gave it 4.5 stars but it was such a flawless experience that I cant imagine anything going wrong..fingers crossed. Amazing product.

Best mineral powder!

I love this product! This is my everyday "mom-on-the-go" foundation. I like to put on my concealer first with this, so that the powder will set it for the day.
When I'm not using this as my foundation, I'll use it to set my liquid foundation if I'm looking for extra coverage. The only thing I wish is that it would last a little longer on the skin, but I think that anything in powder form will fade more quickly than a cream/liquid.

This is a really nice pigmented powder; however, it does not have a very good staying power. It gets oily very quickly, and your going to have to reapply a lot! However, I use it just to set my concealer & I love it!!! It keeps my concealer from creasing, but doesn't look powdery at all. Very natural finish! It also gives a bit extra coverage.

Absolutely love this. I use it as a light finishing powder over my foundation and it always gives a flawless look. And on my days off I use it alone and just build it up again - still a flawless finish, very natural looking too. I just don't like how when you are putting it on your brush it gets loose and messy in the compact but I can deal with that cause I love the product so much.

Light-Medium Coverage + Satin Finish =Flawless skin!

This is one of the staples in my kit & my own stash! I feel it really improves the appearance of your skin's texture without looking too dewy or too matte. It's great as a finishing powder over liquid foundation or concealer. When I wear this alone I get compliments on my skin like crazy. Holy Grail for me!
