my all time favorite blush

I have been looking for the right blush for decades, literally, and Kjare Weis is hands down the one. I used to use abundance, and still love that color, but switched to blossoming as I have olive skin and needed something a bit brigher. The abundance is beautiful but for my darker skin it tended to fade after a few hours. the blossoming doens't fade as much. What I love about this blush is how natural and sheer it looks. I need color on my cheeks, but hate the look of obvious blush (as opposed to obvious lipstick.) it's pricey but so worth it.

Would be 5 stars if they didn't go bad so quickly

I ordered several of these during the summer sale and received them about a month and a half ago (August 20th). Right out of the package, they performed very well. I like a sheer application for brights and a more heavy-handed application with neutral shades. I'm able to achieve both because these blushes are easily blendable and buildable. Pretty effortless, I'd say.

For my preferences, the texture was just right: Not too dewy that it slips or fades quickly, but also not so dry or matte that application is patchy or moves product underneath. It's a little more emollient than Make Up For Ever cream blushes, for reference. I typically like using a brush to apply and blend, but I also haven't had issues with hastily slapping on some color with my fingers when I'm in a rush.

Additionally, the compact itself is very sturdy and weighted. I think it feels as luxe as they are marketing it. I love that these are refillable products and think the swivel mechanism is cute, too.

However, they are already starting to smell off. Not rancid, but noticeably and very distinctively *off*, as they did not have a discernible scent when I first received them. It's similar to the waxy, unpleasantly synthetic smell of Tom Ford lipsticks that have gone bad (but at least those have lasted a year+). The shelf life for KW blushes is stated to be 12 months after opening, but... it's only been a month and a half, and they're already smelling bad and drying out. I know 'natural'/organic makeup is said to have a shorter lifespan, but this is a real shame. If only one went bad, I could chalk it up to being a lemon, but it's basically all of them (2 blushes in KW compacts, and 5 refills in a Z palette). And they have not been stored in a humid or hot environment, either--they were in a drawer in my vanity room. Maybe I got old stock or something? Idk.

I can't return these because I bought them on sale, so I wanted to inform others of this in case they thought of picking some up during a sale too. I hadn't seen mentions of them drying out or smelling off so soon, so I didn't think anything of it when I bought several. I'm definitely going to be sticking with other brands in the future.

Perfect everyday color!

I love this cream blush... it goes on very smoothly, and looks like it has been airbrushed on my cheeks. It is really beautiful... I love Blossoming as a perfect everyday blush. It goes with everything! If you can only get one, this would be the color I would get! I am already thinking of other colors I want.

Love love love

Love this cream blush. It gives the perfect pop of rosy hue. If you have dry/combination skin this blusher is perfect, it stays on and give a natural rosy look. The packaging is very nice, with this metallic swivel case. But beware, the metallic casing is a bit heavy, so I don't think its very convenient to carry this around all day for touch up.

Having a romance...

I'm really obsessed with this blush. I have tried a few cream blushes before and was underwhelmed by all the hype and promises. The packaging is probably the best I've ever seen, sort of paying homage to how remarkable this blush is and reflective of the price making it feel like you are getting what you pay for, high end luxe that doesn't fault. The shade Blossoming is my everyday go to colour. A fresh pinky peach that's super easy to wear. Blossoming really suits my skin tone and adds to that natural, effortless look. The product is very consistent after a few months use, blends ravishingly and feels lovely. I can't wait to buy a few more shades and even another product or two from this line.
