Surprisingly Great Quality for $1!

A few months ago I bought all shades of the ELF Essentials Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 for my kit, at $1.00 per .42oz tube, I thought this would be perfect to use on clients and inexpensive to repurchase when needed. This tinted moisturizer comes in 7 shades; Ivory, Light Beige, Rosy Beige, Apricot Beige, Honey, Spice, Toffee. This moisturizer provides a sheer coverage, but can be built up to a medium coverage if needed. The consistency of these moisturizers is quite thick - comparable to a liquid concealer almost. I find that mixing it with a face primer makes it easier to apply and blend into the skin, and reduces the amount you need per application. I personally have been using one of these moisturizers on/off since I got it, and I really like the consistency - especially on my no-makeup days. It's very creamy and leaves a smooth surface on the skin. This is a great tinted moisturizer for only a dollar! I have pretty sensitive skin, and I have not shown any irritation to this moisturizer, plus it does keep my skin moisturized throughout the day. I recommend this to tinted moisturizer lovers, it's great for non-makeup days, keeps you moisturized and is buildable for a medium coverage. Swatches of all shades can be found on my blog http://www.beautybykrystal.com Swatch attached is the shade I personally use on NW25 skin

AMAZZZZZZZZZZZING

I didn't have high expectations for this one, since I wasn't crazy about the studio one, but WOW! I use this on the daily. I wish it was a bigger tube!! First off all it smells delicious. It has a lovely orangey scent to me. I know its a tinted moisturizer, but I mix it with my matte-fying moisturizer and buff it onto my face. The coverage is sooooo good! I couldn't believe it the first time I used it. I have a lot of acne scars and this really evened out my coloring. I add a some of the UVA/UVB powder over the top and that is my everyday face!

Well, I bought this product few days ago and I have to say that I like it, but the thing I dont like about it is poor coverage. What is more I have oily skin and this makes my face feeling even more oily, but when combined with powder its ok. I would recommend it more for people with normal or dry skin.Positive is that it has an SPF and its quite good moisturiser. I think I would not re-purchase it although it is cheaper than any other tinted moisturiser.

I love this. I use this specifically for highlighting my brow. The fact that it is a tinted moisturizer is a plus because I have a very dry patch above my eye and below the brow , that this product helps with plus provides even coverage.

Amazing!

Feels like forever that I've searched for a foundation that works for me, and even though this isnt a foundation its a tinted moisturizer it works brilliant for me as a foundation. Gives great coverage and keeps your skin moisturized for quite some time. and for £1 you really can't go wrong! Definately recommend this for people with dry skin.

This product is really light and glides on really well on the skin. It gives an instant glow to the skin with its really fine glitter particle...i really love the way it gives the barely there makeup look. But then again, if you have oily/combination skin like me..you may want to avoid using this product during summer...its glitter particle that give the dewy effect could actually make your oily skin look even oily!!!! Other then that..this product is worth more then what you pay for it!!! :D

Pretty good

Never thought I would ever like this, since I never thought a $1 tinted moisturizer would work. but it looks VERY nice on my skin!!! I have oily skin, & this is NOT very moisturizing. I feel like this should be intended for oily skin girls only. This doesn't feel like your ordinary moisturizer. I wouldn't say it's thick, but it feels like it's more of a gel. Blending is nice too. :D One day, I didn't have time to put on foundation, full on makeup, etc - so I just threw this one and powdered my face & he would not stop complimenting it! Every time I always wear ONLY this, he says something REALLY nice about my skin. That itself is enough of a reason for me to love this. XD I've purchased 8 tubes of this total. I thought they would run out VERY quickly because of the size but they don't AT ALL. It's nice

e.l.f. Tinted Not-so-moisturizing Mousturizer

I got this in Light beige and at first I really liked it but it dried my skin out like no other, I already have super dry skin so it kinds sucked. I liked the light coverage but that's not for everyone. Also the smell was really funky. I would hug someone and they would ask if I just ate an orange. Not the best thing ever. Overall I will not be using this ever again and would only recommend it to people who don't have to worry about dry skin.

So bad it was (almost) funny.

You can't use this on your face... or at least I wouldn't. It turned ORANGE after a month (of sitting unused in my makeup box). Why did I bother buying this junk??

My oily skin meant this literally melted off my face without a few hours of putting it on. The coverage was pathetic for me and it didn't even really moisturise. After the first use I binned it straight away. My problematic skin just didn't agree with it!
