Beauty Product Reviews

This was my first nail polish from Essie and oh my goodness, it's amazing! I've always used OPI before but I think Essie's taken over as a new favourite. The formula is perfect. It's not streaky at all, and Sugar Daddy is a gorgeous sheer pink that becomes a beautiful milky colour after 2-3 coats. I'm so in love with it. Though I wish I picked up Fiji as well, I don't regret buying this colour :)

I've owned this brush for a while now. It does what it's supposed to do and my hair becomes silky smooth after I've brushed it through with this brush. It looks pretty too so that's a bonus. The only downside for me personally was that when I dropped it, the whole bristles plate fell out and I had to push it back into the base piece pretty hard. It was a fixable problem though, so no big issue there.

I had the option of Ecotools or Real Techniques and I chose Ecotools because it's cheaper and I heard loads of good things about it. And now I'm in love with it! I don't think I will ever need a different powder brush as I'm really happy with this one. The bristles don't shed at all and they are so soft. It picks up a good amount of product and gives an even finish when applied after tapping off the excess. Overall I'm very happy with this brush - I will definitely go back to Ecotools for other brushes too.

I got given this as a gift. The colour looks crazy bright in the pan but I was told it's softer on your cheeks. Disappointingly, it wasn't... I'm fair skinned (01 Warm Ivory for Bobbi Brown) and this pink was too much for me. I tried to apply it very very lightly but it was still too bright. It was disappointing because the texture is really nice and I wanted to like it. However, if you have dark skin this colour would look great on you.

I have this as a part of my Bobbi Brown custom palette. I really like the finish and level of coverage but it doesn't last very well on my combination/oily skin, even when I powder my face after. I still use it, but I'm gonna try out a different foundation.

I love the colour of this product. It's such a pretty neutral pink great for any skin tone. I also prefer the formula of this one compared to Benetint which is way too watery. I've seen cheaper alternatives so I probably wouldn't repurchase but I don't regret buying this.

The colour is gorgeous and it lasts a whole day. However, it dries out my lips so much and I have to constantly reapply a lip balm over it. It stains really quickly so on cheeks, it leaves marks where you first put it on and it doesn't look natural.

I like that this primer has a matte finish and helps to control shine. It also leaves my skin so smooth. But I wish it gave more coverage and actually minimised the appearance of pores as it says. I wouldn't wear it on its own.

This is my favourite lip product of all time. I have it in Strawberry Shortcake, Berry Smoothie, Tutti Frutti, Creme Brulee, Sugar Plum, Sweet Tart, Lollipop and Peach Parfait and I love every single one of them. I started off with 3 colours but loved them so much that I had to go back twice to get more colours - which is how I ended up with 8. I love that they are highly pigmented and glossy. One downside is that they don't last too long on my lips but it doesn't matter as they stain my lips and I only have to layer with a clear balm.

I'm really impressed with this eyeliner. It's very pigmented and I like that it comes with a sharpener and a smudger. I also bought this in Aqua Sparkle & Emerald Sparkle and the colour payoff is great for all of them! It doesn't budge at all for a whole day. I also tried tightlining and waterlining with this and it lasted all day except for some fading at the outer corner of my waterline - but that's only because of my eye shape. Overall, I love this so much and I will definitely repurchase, perhaps in some other colours too.
