Beauty Product Reviews

I wanted to love this product so much because I heard it was good for oily skin. It broke my skin out so badly the first time I used it. I thought I did something wrong so I tried again and it broke me out again. The scrub smelled so good and felt nice when it went on but it didn't agree with my skin. If you want to try it, I would suggest getting a sample first in case it reacts badly.

I really love this Medibac line from Dermalogica. The overnight clearing gel helps to clear up my breakouts overnight without causing my skin to dry out. It doesn't itch like a lot of products do. When I ran out of the travel size, I noticed my skin did feel as soft. So, I finally invested in the bigger size because it is worth the price.

This is a great exfoliant for all skin types, especially sensitive skin. I have sensitive, oily, acne prone skin and a lot of facial scrubs cause painful breakouts. This product does not break me out. It doesn't smell funny. It feels so nice when it's applied to the skin. It's not overly drying like a lot of products with salicylic acid. If you are looking for a non-abrasive facial scrub, give this a try.

Shine Free!

This is a great product to use on really hot days or just when I'm trying to create a really matte look on my face without makeup. This product has helped with controlling my oily skin during the day without being too drying. I really wish this had an SPF in it because it loses some of it mattifying qualities when I apply my sun block.

Love Love Love!

I love this masque. It is one of the few masques that I have repurchased several times now. I tried a travel size once and fell in love with it. I love the smell. It tingles as it dries on my skin and is super easy to remove. I have really oily, acne prone skin and this helps my skin look better. I actually have the whole Dermalogica Medibac line for adult acne and it has really helped my skin. I love how I can put this on and take it off within 15 minutes instead of an hour.

Very Soothing!

I finally bought this product after watching a lot of people on YouTube raving about it and I love it! Even though it does my remove my waterproof mascara and liners, it takes off everything else without leaving a ton of oil on my face. My skin is already oily and acne prone. I'll even use this when I didn't wear makeup but I just want my skin to be a little cleaner after a long day. I bought the travel size because I was unsure at first but I will be investing in a larger size soon.

Best Waterproof Gel Liner!

I decided to try this liner after hearing a lot of great reviews on Youtube and I was not disappointed. If you have naturally watery eyes (due to allergies like me) or oily lids, this is the product for you. I can put them on at 4:30 am and it will stay on all day until I take it off at night. It will not budge. It will not creep into my eyes like a lot of other waterproof liners will. I love that it is matte and creamy enough to create the perfect wing. You have to make sure you work fast when applying this because once it dries, it's not moving until you're ready to take it off. Plain tissue will not work. The only downside, which is actually not that bad, is the longevity. This is the hardest liner to remove. I have a lot of great eye makeup removers but I often have to use vaseline for this liner because it is so good. If you love gel liners, give this one a shot!

Best Drugstore Liquid Liner!

I've been using this liquid liner for over a year now and I really love it. Since I don't have a steady hand, I usually stick with eye liner pencils or gel liners but this product is perfect for a klutz like me. It goes on really easily and smoothly to create the perfect wing. The only problem I have is that the waterproof version isn't waterproof enough for me, especially around the inner corners of my eye. It'll be fine for about 4 hours but after that it starts to migrate into my eye and burns so bad. When my eye starts burning like that, I have to take off my eye makeup, which sucks because I spend a lot of time of my makeup. I'll still use this product if I'm wearing it for a short period of time. This is definitely a drugstore dupe for the Lancome liquid liner pen.

I've been using this primer for so many years and I still love it. It applies smoothly and blends out so it doesn't take away from whatever shadow is being applied. The only problem I have it that I've been noticing that it does not last all day like it used to. I usually put my make up on at 5 in the morning and by 2:30 I can see the shadow starting to crease. I still love this product and will continue to use. I just hope they figure out a way to make it last longer but it makes shadows stand out beautifully.

Travel must have!

Like a lot of people, I prefer a defined full brow. I don't like my brows to look overdone but nicely groomed. This products helps a lot. At least I was worried because this one has a lot of red in it, which I had never used. However, I decided to give it a try and ended up liking it. My brows, which are brown, look so nice when I use this product. $21 is a lot for a brow pencil but this is worth the investment. It goes on smooth and blends into my own hair without being noticeable. I keep this in my purse all the time. This product is definitely worth the hype!
