If wasn't tooooo bad :) I wanna say my septum was way more invasive and painful lol. This is the second dermal I've had because the first one got yanked out! This one took the piercer like 10 minutes to get into my face all the way, she couldn't get the heel of the anchor to lay flat in my face. But she waaassss piercing next to scar tissue so I can't really blame her. The worst of it is just pushing in the anchor after the piercer makes the hole, after that's it's sore for like a day and then you don't even feel it's there :)
