Beauty Product Reviews

Does Not Last Long

I absolutely LOVE the smell of this fragrance. It's light and fruity but has a slight musk to it to add sexiness.

HOWEVER, the scent goes away so so fast. By lunch time, the smell is already gone from my skin. The bottle is also awkward to spray. The giant plastic girl really deceives you - there actually isn't that much liquid in the bottle.

Good base for eyeshadows - gets messy

I have this in three colors (yes I"m a mac junkie!). Base Light, Mattisse, and Shimma. They go on pretty smooth, but can sometimes get slightly chunky. It really does help eyeshadow stick to your lids. My complaint is that the little bottles get deformed after squeezing it daily, and the cap never seems to screw on properly!

The colors are great, but after I'm done using these, I'm definitely moving onto the paint pots for less mess.

Perfect Highlight!

I love using this to top off my daily makeup. It can be used during the day or for a night out. Even though it's described as "high-frost metallic", it's actually subtle and does not make my oily skin look shiny.

I also use this to brush on my shoulders and collarbone for a night out with the girls. I've had my compact for over a year and it's not even half way gone. Love love love!

Long-lasting gel liner with a rich finish

I love Blitz and Glitz and use it every single day. The eyeliner lasts all day long and goes on with a super even and rich finish. I use a thin MAC brush to help it go on along my lashline. The gel consistency helps it fill in the gaps between my lashes, too.

The reason I give it a 4 star is because I got the Silver and Macroviolet colors and the consistency of these is SO different from the black. It is almost too whipped and does NOT go on well with a brush. I'd stick with the black. It's better than the Bobbi Brown version.

great product for the price!

I have pretty large pores and oily skin, and have been on the hunt for a good, oil-free pore minimizer. For about a year I was using Clarins Pore Minimizing Serum, which is about $40 for a tiny bottle. I felt Clarins still left my skin dry and also clogged my pores a bit.

Loreal, on the other hand, is a bit more fluffy and less watery in consistency. It goes on smooth, smells nice, and I've already noticed a difference in the evenness in my skin tone. I use it with Loreal Complexion Equalizer at night, and my skin feels smoother.

I give it 5 stars because for the price, the product is SO worth it.
