Beauty Product Reviews

Great for redness

This is my first NARS foundation and the coverage was awesome for my redness and cystic acne/breakouts.

I was very excited to use with my Real Techniques foundation brush but sadly it didn't buff/blend well and my beauty blender didn't help either. I realised that using my fingers were the best and it really set quite fast so its advisable to work on an area one at a time.

Love this!

I have never been a fan of tinted moisturisers/sunblock or of any kind until I read rave reviews and I have to say: I'm sold! This tinted moisturiser does not have full coverage, only light-medium but it's great for covering redness and light acne scars. Albeit the name, I still use moisturiser before applying this tinted moisturiser as I have really dry skin.

Great product for sensitive scalp!

I've been using shampoos with SLS and it caused itchiness and blister-like pain on my scalp after every wash. I always thought that maybe the brand didn't suit me but I decided to try sulfate-free shampoo since its the big hype now and I've never regretted it! It has this light fragrance and doesn't irritate my scalp, leaves my hair visibly smoother and less frizzy after 2-3 washes. Its a great product if you have sensitive scalp and frizzy hair.

I've been using SK-II for a few weeks and my skin indeed looks brighter but I have a couple of pimples growing more recently.. It could be due to my skin adjusting because after application, my skin feels a bit 'tingly' or it could be my skin being sensitive! The results are very obvious after 2-3 times and it works on almost everyone. :) xx

I asked my brother to purchase it for me while he was at the airport and I've never tried YSL lipsticks but I must say I really love the creamy texture and how it instantly moisturizes it! Orange Shiver isn't really orange and it has a bit of peach tones which I absolutely love! Its worth the splurge and I can't wait to get my hands on the other colours.

Love!

This is one of the best lash serums I've ever tried and it does lengthen after frequent usage. My lashes have grown more and this works really well with my Dior Iconic Extreme Overcurl and it lasts the whole day! The best part? You don't even need to use an eyelash curler. :) xx

Only if you love light coverage!

I love how it glides so smoothly on my skin because I've tried many other brands but they end up blotchy after awhile. However, its really light coverage so this is more for a touch-up powder or days I would go with an au naturel look. :) xx

I was introduced to this lightweight foundation and it smells really great! I was quite hesitant because of the price and it comes in a small bottle. It lasts me for 4-5 months and when used with a foundation brush, it has this 'glow' to it. However, its more suitable for people who really love the au naturel, 'dewy' look and doesn't have much coverage if you're looking for a foundation that is able to cover spots. :) xx

Its my first makeup primer that I have ever bought and I must say that it holds my foundation for quite awhile! It really does tone down the redness in my cheeks and nose, which is great. :) xx
