Holiday Bundle Review

Arrived quicker than on Jeffree's own site. Beautylish has excellent service and was very helpful on my order. I was really excited to get the bundle and show it off to my friends. Best Formula for smoothness has to go to Deceased and Pumpkin Spice. Both are very pretty and dd not flake or make my lips crack. Best Holiday Colors for me was Crocodile Tears and Checkmate. Crocodile Tears went on smooth as well and it was a nice flattering green. I matched with my office Christmas tree. Checkmate is a loud but sexy red that will be the center of attention. It is a little thicker in the formula but it is workable. Designer Blood is also very nice. It felt like Unicorn Blood Part 2. It is a rusty dark red and it gives a good 90s lip look, which I like. It drys down nice as well. Mine smeared a lot but I was eating a quarter pounder with it on. :D Now for the Cons: I took off a star for Sagittarius and Chrysanthemum Sagittarius looks like Deceased and very familiar to Scorpio. I held them all in the mirror and in the bottle the colors are a little different shades, but on my brown skin, it all looks the same. Personally I'm getting a bit bored with the mauve, nude colors Jeffree has been putting out. I know it looks good on his skin, but it doesn't look very well on mine. Chrysanthemum was a hot ashy mess on me. The color is very light which isn't a problem, I can somewhat rock light pinks, but it was streaky and patchy. I have to mix other lipsticks and liners to get it to somewhat work. I wish this one I could opt out on. Overall it is a nice set for the holidays and all year round.

One of the best color mascara that I have ever used!

I have black eyelashes and if anyone has seen my super long reviews (sorry) I always have problems with color showing. I have tried color mascara in different shades, different brands and I haven't found the one that I actually liked until now. It only took one swipe and it was showing. It covered all the black in my lashes and it gave it extra length without it looking like a clumpy mess. Plus do you know how hard it is finding pink mascara!!! No drugstore or makeup store I know has it. Just the same ol' black, brown, and the occasional blue/purple. I'm so happy Anastasia decided to make this shade and I hope they never take it off the market. I will definitely try the other colors and will definitely buy this product again!

I ordered the HyperColor powder in pink and teal. I was so excited when I received it in the mail that the next day I had to try it! I read the Beautylish article on it and it said it worked great on dark hair colors too. My hair is back to black right now so I wasn't expecting popping color from it but I was expecting it to be noticeable. Here's the breakdown... It's extremely messy. On the instructions it suggested a towel and gloves when using this product. The towel I used but I didn't have any gloves. My hands were stained pink and I got pink powder everywhere, even with the towel. That's OK, I'm use to getting my hands messy and the powder does not stain. That's a plus. It goes on strong and first I was super impressed. Finally!!!! A hair powder that will show!!! But then the instructions say set with a hairspray. I did and noticed that it started fading and bleeding away. It didn't even last me 5 minutes. It looked faint and I have to be in the bright sunlight for it to show a little. Not only did it bleed on the hair but also my forehead because I have bangs and on my clothes. It left a pink stain on the back of my favorite jacket, which pissed me off. The only reason I'm giving this product two and a half stars, which is pretty nice coming from what I've been through, was that it does work well on eyebrows. I will get this product again when I have my hair pink or purple so my eyebrows can match but I will NEVER EVER use this on my hair AGAIN! Bottom line: If you have a dark hair color and want some colorful streaks that actually show... just dye it.
