Beauty Product Reviews

Smooth, even, light-as-air coverage.

I do not understand the reviewers that found this foundation to be "cakey." I apply it over clean, moisturized skin, usually with a slightly damp sponge, although I admit to occasionally using my fingers as I would a moisturizer, then blending it and my concealer with the sponge. I get a perfectly smooth, flawless finish.

I have seen some people apply liquid foundation by pumping some onto the back of their hand, and stippling the foundation on their face with a brush. That technique did not work for me using this foundation. I ended up with uneven coverage that way, despite blending afterward with a sponge.

I use a lighter shade in winter, when I am paler, and one shade darker in the summer, along with a bit of bronzer.

With this foundation, my mild melasma is completely covered, and my skin gets many complements.

As good or better than more pricey makeup lines.

Creamy texture, extremely blend-able.

Nude and neutral, with great textures and very build-able without any caking or creasing, especially if used over eyeshadow primer (I use Urban Decay Primer Potion.)

Works well when used under some of this falls brighter colors too!

I do agree with other reviewers that there could be more matte finishes offered, as the metallics can make older skin on the eyelid look more crepe-y.

I do LOVE Urban Decay eyeshadows, in general, but must they be so pricey?
