About Me

Beauty has played a very important part in my life since a very young at. Growing up in Ohio there weren't very many beauty inspirations that I truly could identify with. I am pleased to say this has now changed. Women of an ethnic background now have a voice and a vision. I am proud to be a part of the change.

Something that a lot of people do not know about me is I've struggled with my weight. I've lost a little over 100lbs and I have to say, makeup is what kept me feeling beautiful a long the way. If it weren't for being overweight I'm not sure I would have been so into beauty. When I was at my heaviest I was unable to wear anything stylish on my body besides accessories. However, I was always able to apply the latest makeup trends. Being overweight has made me the makeup artist I am to this day. I've learned over the years, feeling beautiful comes from the inside out and not just the outside. It is our right to feel beautiful and embrace who we are no matter what stage in life we are in.
