Beauty Product Reviews

Super pretty, but doesn't always work for me!

After falling in love with the Natural Eye Palette, I was eager to try more. I selected this palette specifically because at the time I was looking for a green, and Honeymoon looked to be a pretty shade. After trying out all the looks, I just wasn't feeling this palette as much as I was the Natural Eye. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I change hair color frequently, and these colors go better with some hued-tresses than others. I still use this quite frequently, especially I Do and Unveil, which are perfect to do a pin up eye! Soulmates is great for dotting on the inner corners of your eyes and your brow bone, and ever after is a nice all-over lid shade. Final verdict: this palette is really pretty, but I look better with neutrals!

My go-to palette.

I was given this as a birthday gift and it was my first eye shadow product from Too Faced. I fell in love and will continue to purchase this palette over and over. You can mix and match super easily with these colors and they last forever. The color payoff is spot on, and who doesn't like a mix of mattes and shimmers? I use Silk Teddy and Nude Beach as a cheek highlighter sometimes as well, and velvet revolver is a good shade for contouring the sides of my nose. Currently, since my hair is dark, I even use Sexpresso as an brow filler! Can you ask for any more versatility? I think not! Great job, Too Faced!

Works great, lasts forever!

I originally bought this product to use in a hair show I was competing in. I was using loose gold flake as part of my makeup look and this kept it in place for a good 6+ hours! After the show was over, I began using it as an eyelid primer. I have oily skin -especially on my eyelids- and this worked fabulously. You only need a little bit and you must make sure it is evenly distributed. The first time I tried it as a shadow primer I didn't really "rub it in" too well, and I ended up with some excess in my crease. That in turn caused the shadow to bunch up in my crease, though you wouldn't be able to tell unless you were close. Long story short, this is a great product and will last you a long time is you use it correctly!
