Ellie D.'s Beauty Product Reviews
More than your money's worth
Time and time again, Illamasqua impresses me with their luxe products. They certainly give you a great bang for your buck with their highly pigmented a-little-bit-goes-a-long-way products. I will say that you should be careful with this compact because mine has since crumbled into dust and can't really be transported around anymore. That's pet peeve #1 for me, but when I take the time to carefully open it up and apply, I end up with a long-lasting and just-enough-to-be-noticed punch of color that's unlike any other blush I've tried.
My #1 Through Thick and Thin (but usually not thin)
I'll admit that I'm a bit of a beauty brand snob. If it's not at Sephora, I usually overlook products without giving them the chance they deserve, not to mention my wallet a break. I've tried to love Yves St. Laurent, Lancome, Benefit, and other higher end mascara brands, but time and time again I come back to this Maybelline staple. It goes on smooth, has long-lasting coverage, doesn't get flaky, and is totally solid. I have super short and straight lashes, and this mascara + a quick flick of the lash curler is all I need to look awake and ready to tackle the day! Highly recommend!!!
