My name is Cassi and I have always been a beauty fanatic. When I was little I used to steal my mother's makeup even though the colors were completely wrong.....

I've gone through different beauty phases: punk/ska, glam, that wretched phase with uber-blonde hair now I'm embracing my roots more keeping my hair dark and using colors that work with my complexion and playing up my features rather than changing them. Maybe it is just another phase but I believe makeup should be a form of self-expression not a mode of changing oneself.

I am hoping to develop a portfolio and maybe become a makeup artist eventually because as much as I love economics (seriously, I do) there is a certain joy that comes from making someone feel beautiful and special.
