Amanda R.'s Beauty Product Reviews

Moisturizing

Very moisturizing with sheer color. I got the peach parfait, berry smoothie, and red velvet. I love them all, but for more drama the red velvet looks amazing with thick liner and false lashes for that night on the town. Peach parfait just gives my lips a nice sparkle and glow without the sticky of a gloss. Berry smoothie is like my natural lip color only amped up. So, I definitely recommend these to anyone!

No Makeup Day Salvation

This is the most amazing moisturizer. Gives a slight tint and glow. When I use this under my makeup it makes my application flawless, and on those weekends I let my skin "rest" it gives enough coverage to go out into the world with confidence. I always get compliments on my skin when I use this :)

Good but....

This is a good product but the price of $16 is steep for what you get. I make homemade lip scrub with honey and raw sugar that works very well. Then just apply some good old fashioned carmex or your fave lip balm. Much cheaper, but alas, I had to try this and will finish it.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G

I use this on all my clients, especially for weddings. This stuff is the real deal and ensures the longevity of your makeup. I don't use it on myself that often because I noticed in the ingredients that it does contain some harsh chemicals that my sensitive skin won't tolerate well. But on those hot days or nights that I know I'll need to look my best for a long time I always reach for this. Great product!

Less Expensive than BB

This is something that will basically do the same thing as the infamous beauty blender. Granted, I love the BB, but for the price it's a bit flimsy to me. I've found that it tends to fall apart faster than this Sonia Kashuk one. I love my sponges for that flawless foundation application.

Couple of Things

First off, I LOVE the shadow brushes. They are magnificent quality and honestly the larger shadow brush I use to blend out my concealer. It works perfectly for that! However, the liner brush and angled brush leave me a little disappointed. The liner brush is far to big for any sort of detail and the angled brush is a bit frayed (at least mine was). I've also never seen either pixiwoo sister use either one of these brushes in their tutorials. I'm wondering if they feel the same? Maybe they could show an example of a good use for these 2 odd brushes; especially the liner brush due to it's extremely large size.

Buy This!

This is a cheap alternative that does exactly what a contour powder set should. The only issue I have is that E.L.F. doesn't have anything for a darker skin tone. But, for personal use, it does the trick

I Found My Replacement

Ok, for me this product replaced my Lancome Definicils mascara. I was an avid user of Lancome for 10+ years and always tried out drug store products over and over to try and find a cheaper alternative. Well, this is it. I am very satisfied with the results. This mascara doesn't clump or flake and leaves my lashes with volume and thickness.

Great for any Look

I LOVE THIS PALETTE! Although I do wish it had a few more matte shades it's still one of my faves. I love using this for bridal makeup to give a soft affect. However, if you want to use it for a smoked out eye it's completely doable! FANTASTIC PRODUCT!

Great for Fall

I can honestly say I have never seen TB. However, when I came across this palette at ULTA I was in love. This has been my personal "go to" eyeshadow palette since I bought it. It has every color you need for depth, highlight and shimmer. The only con is that it is a bit bulky to put in my kit. So, this one will just be my personal palette. And now, because of this palette, and dustyohunter's youtube video I want to see TB!
