One of Urban Decay's best
I loveeeee Smog. Not the pollutant, the Urban Decay shadow!
It's a deep metallic dirty golden bronze with the most beautiful copper undertones. SO stunning. It looks good on virtually any eye color I've ever seen it on. I recommend wearing this color with Urban Decay Blunt ( a buttery gold), a peachy gold (like MAC All that Glitters), deep espresso browns, blacks, and rich sapphires. Do not hesitate to buy this if you are looking for a stunning medium brown/bronze for your collection. It will not disappoint.

Urban Decay makes some of the best quality shadows on the market. They are creamy, smooth, pigmented, and have adorable “grungified” packaging! They are the same size as MAC eye shadows so they can be depotted into convenient 4-pan and 15-pan palettes. For $17, you pay for .05 oz of product which really isn't that much. It's at a pretty high cost per shadow, so you have to pick and choose the gem's of Urban Decay's eye shadow collection
Could be “bunny eyed”, could be beautiful
This shade is a medium pink base with a strong iridescent gold overlay. The only possible dupe I could think of is MAC Rose Pigment, MAC Rose Gold Pigment, or MAC Expensive Pink Eye Shadow. However, I love the texture of “X”. Like many other Urban Decay eye shadows, it has an incredibly buttery texture and applies like a dream on the lids.
The color itself is a hard one to pull off, so I love pairing it with deep grays for a nice contrast, black, and deep navy. I like applying it in small bits on the upper lid only. On my honey brown eyes, I have to wear strong eyeliner and lots of mascara to avoid the dreaded “bunny eyed” syndrome.

A buttery butter gold
I was always on the hunt for a butter gold shade. Surprisingly, not a lot of companies made it! Then I tried Urban Decay Blunt. It's a richly textures, smooth and creamy butter gold shade. It's shimmery, but there's no glitter here. I love using it with dramatic purples and blues (especially Urban Decay Deluxe eyeshadow in Ransom) as a sheer wash and highlight shade. The yellow gold brings out the gold in my honey brown eyes. I would also recommend this to highlight the tops of cheekbones and bridge of nose (use a MAC 224 brush to do this so your face isn't on shimmer overload)

A really interesting neutral
When you think of Urban Decay, you don't think NEUTRALS. They're known for their bright and bold looks. However, “Sin”, a pinky beige shimmer shade, is a beautiful neutral base for all of those bold and bright looks to come. The texture is beautifully creamy and there's no glitter in this one. It looks a lot like MAC's “Naked Lunch” eye shadow, but I prefer this one a little better.

You have to like glitter to like this.
Midnight Cowboy is the only neutral I know of NOT for the faint of heart. This peachy nude is packed with glitter. By midday, I'll always have fallout from this shade...glitter ALL over my cheeks. Not good. If you like VERY sparkle shadows and are willing to have subtle disco cheeks, then Midnight Cowboy is your shade :)
