look for dupes first

This is an awesome, versatile, and quick product. The eyeshadow are very pigmented. It's a combination of matte and shimmery/frosty shades. HOWEVER, before you spend the whopping $50 for this, I seriously suggest finding and using dupes first. For example, E.L.F. has a very similar palette that has colors from both the Naked 1 and 2 palettes. And it's a hell of a lot cheaper. Plus, Youtube is very helpful in finding dupes for high end products. I wish I had known about the E.L.F palette before I bought this.

But I'd been hearing so many good things about this as well as Naked 1, and decided to treat myself to it, as I needed some new colors and I convinced myself it was a good deal; no regrets here! So versatile, the shadows are so nice to work with (formula-wise), easily buildable, and I'll be honest, the brush is quite handy-- it doesn't quite measure up to my MACs (obviously), but the fine edge of it makes applying precisely super easy.

Bottom-line: if you're considering buying this, DO IT!

Favorite - great colours - LOVE IT!

It isn't cheap, but totally worth. Nice colours, great pigmentations.
Good for every day use, but also for a night out look.
Love my palette. Thinking about buying naked 1 and basics to.

Love it!

This one is a little more colorful than the original and I like vibrant colors so this was a no brainer for more calm makeup days. The formula is wonderful (I have the old formula before they changed over last year) and there is barely any fall out. A side note on that one is that the glittery or shimmery ones do have the tiniest amount of fall out unless you pat/push it on the lid. Also the lip gloss is gorgeous that comes with this palette!

The best of the Neutrals!

My favorite neutral pallet to date. I use this the most out of all of the pallets I own. I only wish they had a dark brown matte color and a near white matte highlight.

I just love this palette so much that I can't sum it up in a quick review like this lol. The matte shades are beautiful, but the shimmers are just... Wow. Most of Urban Decay's standard eyeshadows stay on for what feels like forever. You also get $216 worth of eyeshadows, $50 worth of brushes, and $6.14 worth of lip gloss total out to $272.14, not even including the excellent packaging and huge mirror. A small, purse-sized Sephora mirror I almost bought yesterday was $15 alone! $50 might seem like an investment for a palette, but it's so, so worth it. The eyeshadows are super nice and buttery, with only fallout being a problem. The brush is another star - I like how UD's brushes feel solid, unbreakable; and I've never had this brush shed on me. I love the versatility of the fact that it's double ended. I also like that there's a lot of different colors for different situations - you could create a dark smoky eye, or a light eye for family gatherings. The only issue is the lip gloss, which kind of burned my lips and just made them hurt. Regardless... Endless possibilities. I definitely recommend it.

Just like the first Naked palette, the shadows are really pigmented! Maybe even more so because of the new formula. I prefer the colors in this palette, however, I wish there were more darker colors and another brown matte. So the first palette is still my go-to.

I did not buy the naked 2 palette because i feel that Urban Decay tends to have many many repeated colors and i was debating on getting the first one. I was about to purchase the first one but then the sequel came out. & let me just say that if you are a beginner at using makeup or you want a neutral eye palette, you should get this palette ASAP! I love "buck" it is a perfect crease color and it is matte, so you can pair it with any of the other shimmery colors. I do wish it had more matte colors though.
