Obsessed.

I am obsessed with urban decay's eyeshadow. They are very pigmented alone but with the primer potion it stands out. (this is where blending is the key!) but they have mainly shimmers and barely any mattes. But would i recommend? most definitely.

This shadow is amazing, with or without primer. With, the color is a rich, deep metallic plum. Without its a cute shimmering pink. It's unusual and looks different than anything else in my stash. The color goes on smooth and evenly, and wears nicely for 8 hours. I had no problems with fallout, powderiness, unevenness, etc. With primer, the shadow can be a little difficult to blend around the edges, but that's hardly a drawback. The texture is smooth and the color looks great no matter how you wear it. I don't always rave about UD shadows, but Last Call is really great!

Something signature about UD's eyeshadows is that they love to fade after an hour. However, that faded color (be it the entire wash on the lid without primer, or some fading around the edges if with primer) usually wears well for hours. Kush didn't disappoint in either expectation. With primer, its magical vibrancy disappated, and without, the whole wash looked dull after about an hour. After that, the colors stayed put and didn't budge for 9 hours.

Kush feels a little, ever so slightly, dry in the pan when you dip your brush into it. But there's no issues with stiffness or blendability. It went on smooth and even, and I didn't have any issues with fallout (miraculous for a UD shadow with glitter-the micro glitter in this was fine and didn't irritate the eyes. Nor did it lend a disco ball look).

The color certainly isn't a "grass green." It goes on (over primer) much more meadowy. It's unarguably green, but its a soft green, lacking the depth and richness of a shade like grass. While a decent green in this particular shade has evaded me at drugstores, I like Kush for what it offers-pigment, color, longevity, ease of use-but it's still just a ho-hum shade of green.

Oh, UD. You and your tricky eyeshadows. I gave Loaded four stars (for when its used over primer), thanks in no small part to how interesting this shadow is. It doesnt look that interesting in the pan, no. And when it goes on, it just looks like a boring old black with almost invisible green shimmer. However, the color develops slowly over the hours, until it is completely, undeniably green. It was kind of magical!

But I'm sure there are tons of people who aren't amused by slowly-appearing shadows, and would prefer the color to be true right from the get-go. Loaded isn't for those people. However, if you enjoy the change or are indifferent, the wear with primer is phenomenal (pleasing wear for up to 12 hours). I had no issues with dryness, powdery-ness, or fallout. It went on smoothly and was easy to blend.

Great Midtone color

I really like this for an natural look. It is a great midtone for brides and others that want a natural look. It is a matte shadow that is very pigmented. Great great shadow and formulation.

The perfect crease color!

The texture of this eyeshadow is smooth, and very pigmented. I saw this shade while at my local Sephora and once I swatched it, I knew it would be perfect. Normally, I write very lengthy reviews for products I love, but in this case, all I can say is that it is simply amazing.

Great dressed up black,

My second favorite shade of black. Just enough sparkle to give that subtle "girly" look without being too overpowering. Perfectly bendable for a day or night look. Very dramatic. LOVE.

Great neutral matte eyeshadow

I love this shade. ABC Gum is a pale peach with a matte finish. I use it under my eyebrow or all over the lid to create a smoky eye. It has velvety texture and has great colour payoff. Would repurchase.

Great shadow, nice and vibrant! May stain a little, but I use their Primer Potion so it's all good. Bought is on a whim, glad i did. Woodstock is the perfect choice for a medium pink, it's a darker hot pink, still vibrant like I said. Also practical packaging, stores nicely, etc. I would buy it again though I can see it lasting a while. I would love trying new shades, my Saphora was limited.

Love the new formula!

UD has always had some of my all time favorite eyeshadows, but now that the formulation has been remastered, they're even more amazing than ever! Each eyeshadow is smooth and velvety to the touch, glides on your eyelid and blends out with so much ease, it's almost like I don't have to work at all to get a perfect look with these eyeshadows! There are lots of vegan-friendly shadows in their line, which are just as gorgeous as any of them. I'll always be a long-time UD fan.
