It works

When I use it I have to keep my lids closed and give it time to dry...... my lids are a bit oily and they crease easily. This product does help my eye shadow stay on longer but it varies on how oily my lids get.

Not my #1

I do love this primer but it doesn't hold my shadow on as long as Too Faced Shadow Insurance's. I noticed Too Faced leaves a thicker coat so it lasts longer and I feel that the primer potion is a little oily on my eyes. I gave it 3 1/2 stars because it does its job, but I just personally prefer another brand over this one.

Works Well on Oily Lids

Sometimes I find that my lids get a littly shiny at the crease and this primer works well with combating that and so my eyeshadow is saved from creasing or wearing off...from some one with combo skin this primer is best

I wanted to love this product because everyone said it was the best, but it just didn't work for me. It creased after a few hours! So now I just stick with mac paintpots!

Meh.

I know a lot of people absolutely love this product, but it just doesn't work for me. It has the weird oiliness that it seems like a lot of the creamy Urban Decay products have and it makes a bit of a mess on my skin and doesn't stick for very long. It's been ok with some eyeshadows, but others have disappeared fairly quickly.

I have only used the sample size of this that I received with palettes. I believe that the eyeshadow color is more vibrant with UDDPP and I have been to spinning class where I sweat profusely and my eyeshadow has not budged. I have always been a Shadow Insurance girl and I actually think they are both comparable. I like the consistency of the shadow insurance a little more but I do think the UDPP makes the colors pop more than shadow insurance.

An outstanding shadow base. Has a nice consistency, spreads nicely and keeps shadows in place all day. I use the applicator just to place the product and my ring finger to spread and blend. The only con (reason for 4.5 out of 5) is the packaging, BUT, UD did redeem themselves by releasing a professional size squeeze tube. Can't go wrong with that!

a miracle!

I wasn't too sure about this product because it was so hyped up, but I eventually caved in and bought it a few months ago.
I have fairly oily lids, and most eyeshadows crease on me after maybe 3 hours of wear. This stopped that completely. Not only do my shadows last past that 3 hour mark, they last all day long! I hadn't tried a whole lot of other things, so I don't know if this is really the best product for eyelid priming, but it works perfectly for me, so I probably won't be trying anything else!
