Beautiful colors, but pricey and not the greatest quality
If you don't know this already, I'm a HUGE Urban Decay fan, so when these came out I rushed to Ulta to play with them. I finally decided on getting the bright blue shade "Radium", and it is beautiful! It looks really good on me since I have blue eyes, and you don't have to go over and over it to get a decent color payoff. I do have a couple issues with this liner, though. It's another one of those just under $20 items from UD, so it kinda hurts to spend that much on a little tube of liquid liner. But the quality of the liner is kind of funky - now, I didn't use their previous liner so I can't compare the two, but this is just my take on the liner based on other liners I've tried. It does dry fairly quickly and doesn't really move, but it's almost like a colored liquid bandage (if you've every used one of those before). If an edge gets tugged or moved, the liner will come off in chunks. I haven't had much of a problem with this during the day, but when I take my makeup off at night, these chunks have gotten into my eyes and that's when the fun REALLY stops. I haven't really used this liner that much, so it's not really one of the more proud purchases I've made.
I got this in the Book of Shadows Vol. 4 and im really pleased with it. Never have i ever been able to make such a thin line with a liquid liner! It's highly pigmented and the best part is, when you remove it it doesnt smudge all over the place but instead it kind of just rolls off.... if that makes any sense. and ladies, this stuff does last FOREVER. I'm definitely buying another one when I run out. :]
I bought this liner for $22 CAN. I don't really know if it was worth my money. There is obviously much less product than the last liquid liner that Urben Decay made but that wasn't really the problem. My problem with it was the formula. It stayed on long, yes, but if I rubbed it, even just a little bit, it would come off in clumps and irritate my eyes, especially the edges. I wouldn't buy this again.
I have this in El Dorado. Its the most shimmery gold I've ever seen, and is soooo beautiful with everything. Long lasting, but not impossible to remove. Absolutely amazing for a simple, edgy every-day look.
The color selection is great, and the formula is very long-lasting The applicator gets a little practice, but once I got the hang of it, I really loved the precision. The only think I don't like is it kind of crumbles and has a weird texture during removal. I would definitely buy again.
It was okay
The formula was good and long lasting, really great pigment. I'm not used to the applicator so the tip is a little more difficult to wing but the applicator makes the thinest wing!
Awesome liquid liner!
I got home and opened up my Book of Shadows IV and saw it came with some extras, one was this little gem! I am not much of a liquid liner type of girl (and quite honestly I was slightly disappointed) but I can get such thin lines with this brush it is fantastic! It is pitch black and the wear on it is AMAZING! Doesn't smudge or budge. It almost makes me want to convert to solely a liquid liner type of girl. Oh, Urban Decay, you savvy innovators... you did it again!
I have been using this almost every day. You just can't beat the precision with the brush. It is truly fantastic. I am excited to try the other colors and see what looks I can come up with.
great lasting wear, hate the applicator.
ok i have this in perversion which is black, I do love how it doesnt budge, smear or wear off, wat i dont like is the teeny tiny lil brush! its soo short, and the packaging is very misleading, you think your getting a lot of product but its mostly the handle that is most of the actual package, not liquid liner well. =-/
Liquid Gold is what they are!
I absolutely love these eyeliners! They are extremely waterproof. I can get caught in the rain, laugh till I cry or just cry like a girl and it still looks perfect! The brush is so amazing. I have always used the felt tip liners and was afraid to try these but of course UD did it once again, thin, easy to apply and highly pigmented. I will be bragging about these 24/7!!!!
Best Liquid Liner to Date!
I've been seeing all these new colorful liquid liners popping up, but they were all so pricey that I've been too scared to try this. Let me tell you that this one is really good! This was also the cheaper alternative to the Make Up For Ever and Stila options because not only was it cheaper, but it offered more product!
I always had problems with liquid liners staying on well, and this one is the best! It stays on so well that I have a hard time taking it off!! I also like the color selection. I wish they had a brighter purple, something just as bright as Radium but purple. Also, I really like the applicator. The other new liners had been releasing with a foam/felt tip applicator, and I thought this weird brush was going to fail...WRONG!!! Along with the long handle (which I occasionally mix up with the base holding the liquid), this brush easily draws on precise lines!
I have Revolver and Retrograde which I equally love! In the attached picture I'm wearing Retrograde. It's really pretty, and doesn't look too funky, it just changes up a neutral look! Even Revolver is a cool color. It's a gunmetal base with all different color sparkles :)
