hate it !
i hated this dry shampoo. it has a nice smell, but that is the best quality about it. it just made my hair more oily and gross looking. it's cheap, but I would rather pay $20 for a dry shampoo that will WORK !
Pass!
Commercials made it seem believable until i went out and bought it myself! The first time i tried it, it made the grease go away but made my hair very stiff around the areas that i had sprayed it, so i had to take a shower right away. The second time i used it i tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and went for a second shot, HORRIBLE! still the same results after that i just tossed it away.
Not for me at all!
I tried this product because a lot of friends were talking about that since they try really hard not to wash their hair for a few days at a time like myself I only like to wash my hair twice weekly and sometimes my hair does get a lil oily and dingy looking so I though what the heck I will try it and test it out for some of my friends and man I was so disappointed and my hair felt like it had so much residue and product in it that I had to wash my hair 3 times in the shower just to get my hair feel normal again! Not only having the residue feeling my hair did not look like it was just shampooed it looked oilier and just plain dirty! I followed the direction and did tey this product again just to give it a chance and I just have to say I was till disappointed! Owell!
Works, But Creates More Problems
I used this during the summer because I had a weave in my hair and washing it would make it frizzy and very hard to manage. I figured, this would be the perfect alternative, and although it did reduce shine and oilyness, it also made my hair frizzy, not as bad as washing it, but still a lot of static. The price is very reasonable, especially at places like Walmart and Rite-Aid, but be prepared to dish out money for a de-frizzing solution or some of extra work to manage it.
I think the trick is to apply loosely, from root to tip, and brush out with a cushioned hair brush or a paddle brush shortly after. Whenever I did that, it remove the oils in my hair like the product said it would.
I also heard that this product is made from the same ingredients as everyday use powder, so if you use powder and apply it to your hair loosely, and brush it out with a cushioned hair brush, just like the directions on the dry shampoo said, and it's said to work. I haven't tried it, so I can't say whether or not it is successful, but I figured it would still be good to pass this info along.
AWFUL! DO NOT BUY.
I was really hoping this would work but sadly it did not. All the product did was make my hair smell better (from previously being at a bonfire), other than that it made my hair MORE oily and it felt like I had residue in my hair.
Don't work!
This is my opinion.
This dry shampoo was a waste of money. It leaves a sticky/white residue on the area I sprayed this product. I have tried different dry shampoo products and this is cheap but didn't work for me at all!
I bought this product with my own money.
I bought this hoping it would take oil out of my hair when I really need it. It fails to do that. I sprayed it on and it still looked the same as it did before. I hate the smell, it's overpowering. It left my hair feeling extremely weird and it felt and looked disgusting. I tried it once and I'm never using it again.
I only use this when I am in extreme need!!
The smell of this product makes me almost choke, specially because I have asthma.
And it doesn't take too much of the oil out of my hair. It also leaves white residue on my hair so it looks like you have white powder on your hair so people can tell even more that you didn't wash your hair that day.
Sometimes I just rather wear a hat than use this.
Like I said, I only use it for extreme need when I can't wear a hat or put my hair up.
Smells Bad
The smell is like some sort of cleaner, overpowered and just bad. It leaves hair dusty looking if you use too much almost like you have dandruff. It also makes hair stiff which makes it look all the more oily. Pass!
