I can't skip days for washing my hair because it gets sooo greasy. So I tried this hoping I might be able to skip days. This stuff is just gross to me. I have black/brown (not natural) hair and I already suffer from dandruff, but when I put this product in my hair it has TONS of flakes. It looks like I scratched my head for hours. Also left my hair white. This is definitely a miss. I think it would probably work better for someone with blonde hair.
I really wanted to like this, but it just didn't work well. At first, I thought it actually worked, but by the middle of the day, my hair actually looked greasier.
Truthfully I dislike MOST dry shampoos that i've used, mostly because of either faulty packaging they empty out or they just suck. This is going in the pile of dry shampoos that suck lol.
I have a hard time using products in general in my hair because I hate HATE when my hair doesn't feel like hair. This makes my hair feel like I basically loaded my hair with tons of hairspray and then brushed it in. it felt heavy, it left my hair white no matter how much I combed or patted or smoothed this into my hair, I didn't feel like it made my hair "fresh", or clean, or anything similar to that at all. I mean I know it's not gonna get my hair like it was just washed or anything... but I've tried much better dry shampoos that I didn't like... but didn't DISLIKE this much lol.
All in all.. not happy with this product in any way.. I can't even imagine that there will be a time when I would even want to reach for this.
no thank you!
I expected it to be so much better as other Tresemme products usually work well for me. This just made my hair even more oily and heavy. Definitely a miss!
I don't know who can use this I have really dry hair so I only wash it twice a week and use dry shampoo on the 3rd day when my roots get oily. But it leaves so much residue and makes your hair cakey! So I tried it when I had washed my hair the day before to see if it would give me volume...nope just a white flakey mess. Back to Psssst I go!
I was on the hunt for a good dry shampoo, because my hair gets super oily. I saw this product and it was on sale and thought I'd try it. I've used this product once with good results. It sprayed on white, I let it sit for 5 mins and brushed it out with no leftover residue that I could see. I would only recommend using it for one day, because the next day my hair seemed weighed down.
Not The Best Dry Shampoo Out there
I actually just threw my bottle away of this! The product came out so concentrated and left this white film over my hair! I figured if I brushed it like crazy to help break it up and brush it into my hair more, but nope. Made a big mess and I had to take a shower anyways :) I really liked the smell though
Depends on the situation...
I would definitely only use this if you are going to wear your hair up, but if that is what you are planning then this is perfect! I know that with my hair on a second day it tends to go extremely flat, but if I am going to throw it up then this helps to not give my hair a weird plastered down look. For this product to work for you it really depends on your hair type, but it is cheap enough that I think it is worth a shot! :)
Clumpy and Noticeable
I bought this product with the intentions of using it when I blow dry my hair straight, and can't wash it. When I used it, I found the spray to come out very concentrated leaving a white residue on my scalp. I attempted brushing and combing it out to break up the residue, but it didn't work. Instead the residue was left in my brush and comb. This product needs improvement.
Not for me
First, I read the directions throughly, it still left a faint hint of white at my roots. Then, it left my hair feeling like there was a lot of product buildup and within an hour my hair looked greasy...I ended up having to just wash it out, it just progressively got worse as time went on. I kept reading the directions to see where I went wrong, before I realized it was the product not me. lol
