For the Nudest in all of us!

There is nothing more perfect than a Retro Vanity or in this case a Retro style "Naughty" Or "Nice" Palette! TheBalm has done it again with this perfection mix of shimmers & matte eyeshadow palette that's worth every penny! I purchased the "Naughty" Palette with the nude pinups for $36 on TheBalm website! I'm seriously obsessed with it now, Here's why:

-ADORABLE super thin palette with great size mirror on the inside, duo shadow/liner brush included which is an ok brush
-Choice of 2 inside designs, A Retro Naughty or Nice theme. all shadows are the same regardless of which printed palette you get
-All shadow names start with S, Clever i think!!
-Double Thick Cardboard Palette, with a Sleeve. I'm not sure why i kept the sleeve, its a pain but i always put it back on haha!
-12 square pan eyeshadows. 8-Glitter/shimmer colors 4-Matte colors
-The 4 matte colors are Medium brown(sultry), Reddish brown(sexy), Deep Brown(sleek), & Jet Black(serious) which i LOVE! I'm so glad the mattes are everyday basics!
-Compact, easy to thrown in a medium size makeup bag for touch ups, traveling or over night stays.
-High pigmentation, Very blendable & buildable shadows. Can all be used wet or dry. The more shimmery shadows tend to be a tad bit Chalky & have more fallout during application but that's ok with me! Just wipe away!
-Long-lasting coverage, but i always use with a base! Sassy or Stand-offish are perfect as Highlighters for the face as well!

This is a great alternative to The Naked Palettes by Urban Decay (not comparable as fair as colors/textures), I was quite disappointed by the new Naked 2 since it was way to similar to the original palette so i wont purchase it (maybe one day.. eh.) This palette has a light pink(stubborn) & Light true gold(snobby) which i thought was odd at first but grew to realize its perfect with the other hues & make this palette itself stand out even more!

I probably should hide this palette i love it so much and haven't put it down yet!! I for sure will hit pan on these shadows! I really wish TheBalm got more exposure because its such an amazing company & product! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Checking them out especially if your a vintage gal like me! You wont regret this purchase!

A Unique Take on a Nude Palette

I love how versatile this palette is. It is not the standard nude colors we are used to in nude palettes. It has a gorgeous deep burgundy shade called sexy that is very unique. I love to use this shade in the outer v as a fun punch of color in a smokey look. You can make very natural looks to extremely dramatic depending on your mood. The shadows are VERY pigmented and most are very buttery. The quality of these shadows is right on par with highly held brands like Urban Decay. It is a cool based palette; so for those who like warmer colors, this may not be the palette for you. The packaging is adorable -- especially the naughty version.

First off, I'm a huge fan of palettes. I think buying individual eyeshadows is just so impractical, which is one of the reasons I bought this one! The other reasons being the hype and the great packaging! I love the colors [although I've been mostly using the lighter colors]. The pigments are great and even the brush is pretty good! [Don't you hate it when you buy makeup and the brush that comes with it is total $@!%??] I also like how thin it is so I can easily slip it into my purse and take it with me on the go! [the large mirror is also a big bonus!] Great product for anyone who loves neutral colors <3

Details about this palette

I bought this on Hautelook and just received it in the mail today. I haven't used it yet but I'm already loving it. The palette comes with 12 different shadows, 5 which are matte. It comes with a double sided brush...one side is for eyeshadow and the other is for eyelining (angled brush). The palette is very thin with a large mirror and a magnetic cover. Overall I think the eyeshadow are kinda small but very pigmented. I paid $19 plus shipping.

I adore this palette. I love all the colors but my favorite is Selfish. Its such a gorgeous taupe shade. LOVE LOVE LOVE. I use this way more than my naked palette. I use this for my go to neutral eye!

I bought this on hautelook on sale and I am sooo happy I did love the colors I like this palette for more day looks when I wanna spice up my day look a bit the packaging is one of the cutest other than too faced. they have some matte and some shimmer nicely pigmented the only thing I would say I didn't like about this palette is I wish they gave u more product but would deff repurchase it again!

great substitute for the naked

I really like this palette, it gives a great range of colors from light (just highlights for natural look) to intense (dark color with matte burgundy and black).

Unlike the naked palette i know EVERYONE raves about it, it has fewer selection which i like sometimes. Too many color options can be overwhelming especially if they all in shades of brown/neutral. I love the pop of burgundy in the palette which makes the colors a little more fun to use. Also the formula is awesome smooth and velvetty for the satin/shimmer colors. My favority color in the palette is sultry which matte brown color (i think it might be a little lighter than the color "buck" from UD great for natural crease look for the eye @_@). I catch myself always heading for that color.

If you don'twant to dish out $50 for UD naked you can always get this for $36 or I got mine for $18 from hautelook! So look out for sales !

Love it

I absolutely love this pallet! I find I have been reaching for it everyday i use the dark colors to go over my gel liner and the light for a soft natural eyeshadow. My eyes pop! Will buy again.

LOVE LOVE LOVE

Nothing that I can say bad about this palette. It has a nice mixture of matte and shimmer eyeshadows. Nothing glittery which it always a bonus. They are SO pigmented, its crazy! The packaging is also super adorable. I am 100% going to repurchase this when I hit pan, which will take a while since I use it all the time for over 6 months and it is still going strong.

Great Affordable Option

As everyone else is saying, this is a great palette. There are great colors, the formula is amazing, and the black shade is the darkest black I own. In addition to just how good it is, this palette is also way more affordable. Although it retails for about $30 (still way cheaper than a lot of other neutral palette options), the Balm is often available on Hautelook, where I got my palette for $18. I also love this packaging as it's very thin and sleek and fuss-free. The balm always does a great job not over-packaging their products which makes this palette ideal for travel.
