Choose Your Color!
i needed to get my hands on some sugarpill after all the great reviews online. Amy finally set up a booth at IMATS 2011 so I took the chance to grab a few items. They didn't have Poison Plum the first day but I ended up getting a few of the loose shadows. They had an awesome discount but there were so many people at the booth. I didn't want to give them (i think it was Tess) a hard time by taking too long to choose my colors. I wanted to play with them but I had to move fast. Anyway, Paperdoll is one of the items i picked up, it is so smooth and finely milled. I love the little pink sparkles in the shadow. I love the packaging and still keep it in it's box. The only bummer is that i feel it works best with a mixing medium and a sticky base. I feel that because it is so fine, it has the tendency to move if applied dry.
Make me beautiful
Igot Absenth and paper doll after i tryed there burning heart pallet and i fell in love with the lose shadows after i used them there so pretty and pigmented and perfect for my skin type.
Beautiful colors, not much adherence to the skin
I love Amy a.k.a Shrinkle, the founder of Sugarpill Cosmetics. I think she did a spectacular job with her pressed palettes, the packaging, marketing, all of it. I'm impressed with most of her products, but I think these loose pigments missed the mark. They are certainly beautiful, but there's not enough adhesion or waterproof ingredients in them to make them long-lasting. Overall, I think they're fun, but only weareable for a few hours.
Have almost all of these!
Sugarpill cosmetics are seriously my absolute favorite eyeshadows atm... I recently purchased almost the entire line! I just can't say enough great things about these amazingly pigmented products! I have pretty much used them daily since got them! Truly fabulous!!! <3
I own Junebug, Absinthe and Goldilux and out of all three I'd say Goldilux is my favorite, it's such a beautiful opaque gold! Even without a primer! I must say I was slightly dissapointed in Junebug, I expected a lot from this color but the color pay off wasn't as good as I expected. Overal, I want every pigment from their line because they're gorgeous and sparkly and I LOVE them.
um how do i get it? cause id like all of them honestly. a really good yellow and red are hard to find!!!!!
id like to get a free bee to try!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let's see, what Sugarpill Loose Shadows do I own...Decora, Weekender, Magentric, Magpie and Darling. I just ordered Birthday Girl and Royal Sugar yesterday. So needless to say I am in lurve with Sugarpill! So sparkly! So pigmented! Everything about this brand is amazing. Even the box you receive your goodies in is ultra adorable, right down to the pink tissue paper everything is packed in. For twelve dollars, you get a VERY good amount of product. I haven't tried the pressed powder shadows yet but they are next on my list, but these loose shadows are absolutely amazing. I'd need to dig out my thesarus to find more words to describe how great Sugarpill is. Lots of product, lots of pigment, lots of sparkle, what more do you want?
I want more!!
When I got my Sugarpill package yesterday, I fell in love with Tipsy Chormalust Loose Eyeshadow! It is a gorgeous green color with gold flecks and it is very pigmented!! I'm going to purchase more of them soon!
Addicting doesn't seem a strong enough word...
As far as indie makeup companies go, this is hands down one of my favorite FAVORITE places to shop!
All the Chromalusts are finding their way into my collection, and for good reason. The colors are soft, highly pigmented, a dream to blend, last for hours with NO fading (at least for me), sparkle like you wouldn't believe, don't "muddy"... And Golidlux is a MUST-HAVE gold in your collection.
If you love color and aren't afraid to go bold with your looks- Sugarpill is the answer!!
Pictured here I've used Asylum, Lumi & Goldilux.
Asylum is also used on my lips.
