I feel like I have been seeing this shadow everywhere! I gave into the urge to impulse buy this after seeing it mixed with clear nail polish to create the most stunning, mirror-finish gold nails I have ever seen. After seeing it in person, I have no regrets. I put it on as soon as I got it in the mail, and it just makes blue eyes look phenomenal. I also have to give props to Beautylish's fantastic speedy shipping and top notch customer service. With my new found love for Sugarpill and Beautylish combined, I feel like I'll probably own all of these shadows in no time.
One of my friends bought me my first Sugarpill product for Christmas, a loose eyeshadow in Goldilux. The only thing I have to say is: how did I ever live without Sugarpill? You get literally TOO MUCH product (not a bad thing!) I can't see myself using the entire jar. I will never run out. You need literally nothing on your brush, seriously I apply it by just using the residue on the inside of the jar's cap. Goldilux is such a beautiful gold color, you can use it anywhere and make it work.
It's seawater in a jar!
This color is gorgeous. It has the beautiful turquoise shimmer, that reminds me of sparkles on sea water. It goes great with many different eye shadows for a highlight/accent color. This also looks great and not overly done as a cheekbone highlight if you're feeling daring or wearing a certain blue/green look. This is a truly unique color.
I did think it was going to be a little bluer from the promotional shots, but they did call it black. It's a mostly black, shimmery shadow with blue glitter mixed in. It's still very gorgeous and very blue. It's not very pigmented alone, but I don't tend to use shadows alone anyway! I'm not disappointed at all. The base really brought out the blue in it. I need to test it in a look more to truly see it shine.
This color is actually a lot brighter and more pigmented than I expected. It's still a pastel-ish color, but it's kind of neon actually as well. The purple and white glitter make it super shimmery and nice in the sunlight. It's a nice lilac color, similar to the effects of a potassium flame. :)
This color is AMAZING. No camera I have could capture how beautiful it is. You put Lumi over a plain black base, and it just transforms! It looks rather blue in the jar, and when you put it over the black, it becomes a beautiful deep turquoise color. I bought it for a friend but I'm tempted to buy a full jar myself!
I love this colour! I use it on my inner corners, as a highlighter beneath my browbone and beneath my lower lashes, I use it over other colours to give them a GORGEOUS sheen, I use it alone to make my eyes just look LOVELY and beautiful and glittery and omg. I seriously adore this colour. I can't get enough of it.
Unique and pigmented
I ADORE this colour. It's like a blackened green and it's very unique and it reminds me of summer camp with the june bugs and the doodle bugs. I just really like it and it goes well with Hysteric. Also, if you throw a little Lumi on top, it becomes an entirely new shade.
