Smudge Crayon Waterproof Eye Color

Reviews

I got this in a little sample size from ULTA, and I just love it. The color is very unique. I owned quite a few brown eyeliners (which is what I use this as), but not a red brown with slight red shimmer. It's gorgeous, and makes my green eyes pop. I love using it as a smudged out liner, or using a liner brush to make it a nice crisp line. Once this stuff sets, it's there until you take it off. I plan on buying the full size version when I run out of this one. I have not tried it as a shadow, it seems like it would be too hard to work with.

Amazing Product

Received a sample of this (via sample society subscription) and I really, really like this product. Normally, I'm not an eyeshadow kind of girl because the ones I've tried (not many, admittedly) didn't stay put, creased easily and depending on the color, accentuated my under-eye circles. But this crayon glides on like silk and stays put like a dream. The “smoke” color highlights my brownish-hazel eyes, too. I just applied it over my entire lid like I would an eyeshadow. I didn't expect much from this crayon but I am pleasantly surprised. I will buy a full-sized version of this product and I look forward to trying different colors, too!

Quickie Product

I quite like this and was very happy to find it at Sephora. I got Midnight Blue because it was a little different from the usual black or brown eyeliners, still being versatile to use in different looks and occasions. It works as a cream eyeshadow and eyeliner, with a soft but not-too-creamy kind of consistency. I find it requires a little smudging at the edges, but that's not too much of a pain. And it isn't waterproof, and comes of very easily (and cleanly) with water and a bit of tissue, which is a pro or con depending on personal taste. Personally, I like it. The color can be built up to be a little more opaque, which I like. And, it comes with a little sharpener at the bottom, which is just lovely. Can't wait to try the other shades!
