My first pro blow dryer, and I'm definitely convinced there IS a difference!

I used to use an old Vidal Sasoon travel dryer, and it would fry my hair. I would look like a lion after blow drying, and I definitely would need to flat iron my hair afterward to make it soft and silky again.

This does not leave my hair coarse, I love the narrow nozzle attachment and it dries my hair so quickly! I useually have to flat iron my hair, but after I blow dry, I can go into work and I get compliments all day. "What did you do to your hair?" - "Oh, nothing - just blow dried it after I jumped out of the shower..."

The ion option makes my hair do the frizzy lion thing though - so I opt to not use that. If anyone knows how to use that correctly, please pm me w/ any information. Otherwise, I love this dryer, and I'm a convert for life!
