Shiny, but flakes and chips galore!

I love how fast this dries, how shiny it is, and (oddly enough) the smell. Unfortunately this top coat is one of the worst I've ever tried in terms of chipping, yellowing, and peeling. Within a couple hours of finishing my manicure, the entire topcoat will peel off of the nail in one piece! Or, if I manage to keep it on longer than that, the manicure will start chipping the next day. For the price, this was a complete waste. Huge disappointment

Works well when new, not so much a month later

I was impressed with how fast this dried my polish. Not even a minute later it was dry to the touch and I was left with a nice shiny nail. However, as it gets older it gets harder to use. The polish starts to thicken up into like a syrup-y consistency and when applied to the nails it ends up leaving tiny bubbles all over and takes a while to dry down thus ruining the purpose of ever wanting to use it in the first place.

I mean, it works well enough, but it changes the color of the polish underneath. Almost like... Yellows it? And it turned thick and unusable before I could get halfway through the bottle. It turns weirdly stringy, and I think you can do eons better for the price. Especially since you have to throw it away halfway through. Pass. Plus I got a bottle three times the size at Sally's and it works a trillion times better for the same price.

Hate It

My Aunt had given me a bottle awhile back. I don't think it is worth the hype AT ALL! It peels easy and brings the polish with it, thus making your mani look like crap. It gets goopy very fast, and when it gets older, you have to buy this this by seche Vite to make it useable again. So like 10 dollars for the polish and another 10 for the "reviser" thing. I would not reccomend it EVER to ANYONE

Peels

I have heard such great things about this top coat, and when it went on sale at my local Sally's I had to buy it. Already frustrated with the China Glaze top coat and the thickening of the fingerpaints top coat, I cautiously applied this one. The first application worked wonders, my polish lasted for a week or more with just a bit of tip wear. Using it a second time, however, prompted the same results as the others. Nail polish would peel off all in one sheet, leaving my bare nail in need of fresh re-painting even with the matching Seche base coat. It also claims to not yellow the polish, yet I have been having trouble with one ONE nail turning a grimy yellow color the day after it is painted. So I have to scrap that one, too. I like how fast it drys, but for me it's nothing new. Same old frustrations for a higher price tag. I am disappointed.

best top coat ever!

hands down best top coat ever. My friend introduced me to this and I am in love. It seriously makes your natural nails look like acrylics! And it dries faster than anything out there!!

THE BEST!

I've been a nail polish maniac since 2009 and I've tried a lot of top coats but Seche Vite is the best you can find. It makes your nails look shiny for days and your nail polish dries really fast!

HG topcoat

My favorite glossy topcoat but get the thinner, it thickens fairly quickly after opening. It's worth it despite thickening though, it provides a flawless, long lasting finish. Flow it on gently since even thinned, it's thicker than most topcoats.

the holy grail of topcoats

This has got to be the best topcoat ever! It dries up instantly and makes your regular polish appear gel-like in consistency. However, it goes well with high end nail polishes like OPI and Orly. But I gave it a try with Revlon and it works just as well. I dunno about cheaper brands though. It usually lasts for 5-7 days, is really chip-proof and tough as you can get. The only downside is if it starts to peel off, it really comes off in a sheet. So you can't apply touch ups. Instead, you have to apply it all over again. But then, maybe it really is time to apply a new polish♥♥♥

I will never buy another topcoat again!

This stuff is seriously one of my all-time cannot live without products. I have always had so much trouble getting my nail polish to dry and stay smooth. After using Seche Vite, I never worry about that anymore. Literally, after about five minutes, I can go about my day as my nails are already dry. I also find that it makes my manicure last longer than any other topcoat I've ever tried. It provides a smooth, long-lasting, glossy finish that stays a long time. I will say that about 2/3 through the bottle, the formulation does get a bit goopy and harder to use, but it doesn't make that big of a difference on the actual nail, just in the application. Seriously, try this topcoat!
