Rare Good Find

I used to never wear powder because I never wanted to look cakey and overdone. But after buying the Photo Ready Foundation I decided to give it a try. I absolutely love this powder. It leaves my face looking natural and almost air brushed. I will always use this on the days im too lazy to put on foundation because it gives me the same finish.

Gives a matte finish, sets foundation

The Revlon Photoready Powder provides more of a matte finish and therefore eliminates shine. It comes in 4 shades, translucent, fair/light, light/medium, and medium/deep. The tinted powders help with coverage, and these also contain SPF 14. These powder compacts can be found in most drugstores for $9-$10. The most disappointing aspect of this powder is the amount of fall out. The powder gets everywhere! One sweep of the brush over the compact and it loosens up too much powder, causing a lot of powder to go to waste. The brush that comes with the compact doesn't work well and I ended up throwing it out. I do like the convenience of a compact, but I hate when they break, and I feel like they always break. Revlon should consider making their Photoready Powders in a loose powder formula as well. But this powder works well in eliminating shine and setting my makeup for the rest of the day.
Now, for the sparkles. I have read a lot of people complaining about the shimmer. Revlon describes the shimmer to be "Photochromatic pigments bend, refect and diffuse light to help erase flaws." But to be honest, the shimmer doesn't bother me at all and I barely notice it. If you look closely in the picture of the powder below, you can definitely see the sparkles. But once, the powder is buffed in to the skin, I can't really tell.

Good Pressed Powder

The fair to light is a great colour for me.
It feels light and soft on my face.
Its pretty cheap and comparable to high end quality.
It sets make up perfectly and doesnt look cakey over full coverage foundation as some powders do.

I LOVE IT!

It works GREAT! I use it after i apply the true-match foundation, and my face look flawless afterwards! It can be bought at any drug-store and the price is very reasonable. Everyone asks me what kind of makeup do i use! I LOVE IT!

This was my first powder and it was great at setting. It wasnt that thick and didnt come on that powdery. It soaked into my foundation almost and just gave it a brighter look. I loved it and it was one of the best powders i've used yet.

Fantastic

Purchased this @ the same time I purchased the airbrush foundation.. I am loving how this powder doesn't get heavy or cake-like it goes on light stays on and my oily forehead doesn't make it dissappear.
I have since retired my 75$ powder and am pleased that this powder stands out on it's own but when combined with my Revlon AirBrushed Foundation it gives me the Flawless, Seamless 1-2 knock out photoshoot ready look I craved for so long!

I like this powder which I can put on top of my tinted moisturizer and concealer. It works really well. It blends in perfectly to my shade. The price is pretty pricey but it does come with a lot of product. The product is nice and although I don't see the difference because of what they claim "Photo ready" I still like it.

Holy Grail for me!

I have never been a fan of powder, my skin is pretty dry for 95% of the year so I tend to look like I'm wearing a mask.... BUT my foundation does not last well if I don't set it... this powder is my solution.

When you look at it in the light (just like the foundation) there is a hint of finely milled shimmer, but I swear it doesn't show up on my face... I wouldn't wear it if it did!

This powder leaves me matte but not dry and caked looking... and it adds just a bit of extra coverage, so for the summer I have been loving it over a tinted moisturizer.

I highly recommend trying this powder... I actually just made my 3rd repurchase!

I bought this product hoping it would work for me since I already own the PhotoReady liquid foundation. The powder ended up making me look powdery and cakey. Definitely a miss for me :(
