Ehhhhh

I'm iffy about this foundation. At first I liked it, until I realized that it had tiny specs if shimmer in it. The shimmers excentuated my pores and dry spots. I put this foundation in the back of my drawer. I evetually threw it out. I ended up going to the drugstore and picking it up to try it out again. I mixed it with my MAC Face and Body Foundtion for Prom, and it gave a good finish and came out well in pictures.
My major problem IS the Shimmers. To me, it doesn't give a "glow".

I like this foundation: blends good, medium coverage, doesnt feel thick or cakey, no smell, has SPF 20, gives skin a wonderful glow....the only thing I do not like is the glimmered finish (if someone is close to your face they can see the shimmer/glitter which can look tacky at times) It is good for pictures on a NIGHT OUT, I havent had the white cast some people talk about but I dont recommend this foundation for a sunny daytime look because like i said the shimmer/glitter is noticeable in the sun!!

Revlon PhotoReady is a sheer-to-medium coverage foundation that blends effortlessly into the skin and provides hours of wear. I love the pump-style packaging and glass feel. It really provides a high-end feel (even the price tag is close at around $11).

There IS shimmer in this product, which is what creates the "photo ready" quality Revlon claims it provides. Light is supposed to reflect off the shimmer, though I didn't notice any change in my appearance in photographs.

Since that is the purpose of its being, it lowers its rating for me. Aside from that, it's a great quality foundation with a pretty good shade range. I suppose the nice packaging is what raised the price, as for only a few dollars more, you could have a MAC foundation.

Oh, by the way, this foundation has SPF and is oil and fragrance-free. Yay!

i love the way this applies and how it makes my skin look! its not a heavy formula so it feels like you dont have much makeup on your face. the coverage is buildable, its just a really good drugstore foundation. i know people are scared about the "shimmer" factor in this foundation but i dont feel like its very noticeable at all unless you look at it super super close or with a magnified mirror. also... IT HAS A PUMP! not only that a very controllable pump (unlike color stay which has NO pump). it is a little pricey for a drugstore foundation but i love it. i wouldnt really say its "photoready" though only because the spf and the light reflecting particles kind of give you a white cast in flash photography. but overall. a great foundation!

Perfect for ME!

i truly do love this foundation!, i finally found a perfect colour match for my skin tone. it photographs beautifully! although in my country it quite expensive i find my self buying it over again. i looks great on the skin and i find it suitable for my skin type which is combination oily. it applies really easy, its buildable. i would recoment setting it though because throughout the day you will become shiny. but i love it!!

Most people who don't like this product try wearing it as a regular foundation, which is not what its made for. Its made for taking pictures, and whenever I take pictures of myself I wear this foundation because in pictures it makes your skin look perfect, like the name says its "photo ready", so therefore it doesn't look all that great when you look in the mirror and it'll look cakey but in pictures it looks AMAZING.

Love it!

I honestly LOVE this stuff. I'm a stage performer and right before a show, my bottle of Stilla just broke on me, so I literally had to run to the nearest Wallgreens and get some new foundation. I had tried Loreal TrueMatch and it was a little too much goop for me, so I didn't even know what to grab. My friend wanted some Revlon liquid liner and they were buy one get one half off, so I looked through Revlon's foundations and saw this one. In the beginning of it's run, I'd heard bad things about it, but decided it'd be good, at least for stage makeup.
Well, I used it and absolutely LOVED it. I have really oily skin, but contrary to other reviews, this actually worked for me. I occasionally have to use Urban Decay's oil minimizing spray, but either way, this foundation ends up looking pretty good!
I'm pretty impressed and I will, for sure, keep buying this product!

Just Okay

I usually find it hard to color match foundations with my skin tone but, I easily did this with this one because of the limited selection. My skin isnt perfect but I wouldnt say that I have too many imperfections to cover so, i usually go with liquid foundations that are more watery in consistency. Revlon Photo Ready I found a little to thick for my preference and I didn't like the glimmered finish ethir. It's my overall okay foundation for a night out but not an everyday wear for me.

i really love this one, because first of all, it was the only drugstore foundation that was a perfect match for my skin off the get-go, i hear a lot of people dont like the shimmer in it but i quite like the dewie(sp?) effect it gives my skin. i do agree that sometimes it makes dry patches look a little bit funny, but i just bust out the exfoliator and get rid of the flakeys and re-apply.

Terrible. Made my skin look super oily (even when powdered) and I already have naturally oily skin. I really had high hopes for this, because the Revlon Colorstay is sooo fabulous, but it was defnitely a miss for Revlon :/
