Disappointed

Im so disappointed this product!

It was fun at first time polish shatter. Cracking so fast and it was beautiful black shatter effect. BUT .. a month ago, the polish quickly starts get thick and dry, then it's too thick to crack! no more beautiful shatter effect :(
Now, it is a plain black nail polish!!!

I do like these Shatter polishes because they look cool and all, but they do really clump up after a while in the bottle which then makes it difficult with your applications in the future.

I really don't like shatter nail polish from opi. I find that it either comes out in huge clumps or its too thin to crackle. I have gotten it done on my toes once by an esthetician and even they were having troubles with it. I am also not completely sure I like the look. I think a cleaner nail is more my style.

OPI > China Glaze

OPI's Shatter polish is one of my favorite nail polishes ever! I love the brush and every single color! They did take awhile to come out with more colors, but it's totally worth the wait! Comparing these polishes to China Glaze...they crack so much better and it makes the nail polish underneath show really well.

Depends on if you REALLY like the Shatter Design.

While OPI's Black Shatter nail polish has been really popular, you should really think deeply about purchasing this item. I honestly think this design is awesome. Paired with pinks and reds makes it look like an awesome leopard print design BUT I know people who just purchased it and immediately regretted buying it because they felt that it ruined the polish. That's the only disclosure I'll say.
Also make sure you also put a good top coat on top of the polish so it lasts longer.

As long as you're good with these, you'll love this polish.

At first I was so excited to get the OPI shatter nail polish but now I never use it. I like having my nails look pretty and clean but with the shatter nail polish on top it doesn't.

Have you ever tryed to desing something on your nails and came out no Good? this is it.. no more trying, no more getting upset.. you get what you pay for and more (my opinion) is awesome! give it a try!

It's Ok....

I was all into the hype when this product came out. I loved it at first. It was fun and cool. However, after awhile the polish gets thick and clumpy. At first I thought maybe I just got a bad nail polish. I purchase a few more colors and they are the same way. I wouldn't purchase these again at full price.

I recently decided to buy this nail polish after all this time and I was so excited to use it. I tried a lot of different base colors to see what would look better and the brighter colors look great with the black shatter. If the base color is too dark, the shatter won't show up as much.

I also found out that using a glitter nail polish with a base color or as the base color will actually make the shatter polish crack (be visible) even more.

You kind of have to practice using this nail polish to get the desired look. Applying a thin but not super thin coat allows it to form smaller cracks and applying a thick coat results in less cracks.

This product is a bit pricey but its worth it because it is of good quality and looks really cool :P

Cool Pattern Terrible Quality

I have the OPI shatter it looks awesome but mine is all thick and goopy it always has its not because of age. Personally I prefer China Glaze Crackle over shatter!
