Great Fall Shade
Originally I was on the fence about this lippie but when I swatched it in person I was immediately sold. Its super opaque of course and on my lips it translates as a super metallic dark berry red with a smidgen of purple. The wear time is ok....there is some transfer as it doesn't completely set like my other shades. Kinda bummed out about that but the beauty of the shade has me sold. Love it.
A little goes a long way!
I absolutely love this product! All you need is a tiny bead of product and it really covers your lips. I actually wasn't given the option to select Metal Black Dahlia, which is a deep purple-ish brown with a metallic finish. Its a beautiful shade and dried beautifully. Pigmentation is 100% and it feels great on. It may be $16, but you barely use any product, so it will last and last.
Beautiful Hot Pink
As always OCC doesn't disappoint. Pretty Boy is a nice fuschia hot pink with a blue undertone to it. So it will definitely brighten up your teeth if they are pristine white. I did notice that with this shade it definitely took a bit longer to set on the lips. Which is a good thing as it allowed me to spend a little time perfecting it on my lips.
Liptar is awesome!
I love liptar! They are $16 for just a small tube, but a little goes a long ways! I love the fact that they are soo pigmented!! Plus they come in soo many beautiful colors!
This product was eh to me. I expected it to be way better than it was from all the hype I had read. It does only take a tiny amount to cover my lips with good pigment and easy to control, but it didn't stay on as well as I had been led to believe. I have to reapply this multiple times through the night to keep the pigment, but my lips also end up slightly stained for the next few days. It is all a little drying. I would like to try this in a red though, I am not giving up hope yet.
i love lippies but this product is serioulsy one of my favorites OCC made a great job with this i love it the pigmentation is amazing what you see is what you get and the lasting power of these are just perfect
I bought one in the shade "Queen" and was not so impressed. I thought i would give it a try because I've seen so many people love the product. This is a drying product and definitely should be pared with a lip gloss. I do like how pigmented it was, but its just not for me. A little goes a long way!
I adore the saturation and pigment of these lip tars! I also lovee how you can mix the shades to make new ones, that's so cool. However, I don't like having to brush it on, I prefer a stick or tube to apply my lip products. If you're looking for a strong pigmented lip product then this is it, but I wish the application was more portable and carefree! aha :)
I am a lip product addict and when I saw these in my local Sephora, I was so excited. I talked to the associate and told her I had heard about these on lip tars on youtube and forgot about them because I didn't bother to order them online. Well, I'm glad I decided not to order them. When I first put it on, I was impressed because the color was beautiful. The two stars are given because of the pigment and the fact that a little goes a long way. A few minutes after I put the lip tar on however, my impression was more negative than positive. It dried out very quickly and the texture did not feel good on my lips whatsoever. When I looked in the mirror on my ride home, my lips did not look as good as when I first put the product on. Overall, I am extremely disappointed and would not spend $18 on this product.
