Love it!
I've heard from a lot of people that It has a drying affect on lips but I completely disagree !
I love the opacity of the color and the longevity. I recently bought Strumpet and love it for the fall season. I also have Hush, Momento, and Tone and find that they last just as long as the darker shades.
I usually put concealer on my lips prior to putting the Lip Tar on with a lip brush.
Overall, it's a great buy.
Great Product! LOVE to use it as a lip stain.
I love to put a very very small amount on my finger and work it into the lips then blot and have that lip stain look with this product! It lasts long, is minty and great color & pay off! Most people use these for that full on lip and it's great for that but it's also great for us guys and gals who like a stained look rather than a lipstick look. I love it! Would love more colors! I'm glad they changed the packaging too. Best change of packaging since the primer potion, am i right??
Do the lighter colors not last as long?
Narcissus is my first lip tar and i love how opaque they are, but it seemed to only last an hour or two on my lips, my cousin tried pretty boy and it lasted for hours on her. Maybe it's just me? Well anyways I love the color, and how little product it takes to cover the whole lip. It was a little drying, but anything that stats on longer than 5 mins is, but nonetheless I will be buying more.
PERFECT FOR PRO MUAS!!!!
I LOOOOOVE THESE LIP TARS!!! I am more of a lipstick girl because i perfer full coverage, but these lip tars are super pigmented and opaque. A little bit goes a long way and i think they are perfect for muas because the packaging is so small. I own about 25 of them...you could always just purchase the primary colors and mix them to create your own colors! Cha Cha happens to be a fav along with Anime, Hoochie and Grandma!
Not Impressed
I have several of these lip tars. I love the color variety, pay off, and pigmentation of all of them, but as for the longevity it's not there for me. It fades rather quickly off my lips. I much prefer my WnW lippies. They last far longer on my lips than both MAC and OCC. I also am not a fan of the liquid consistency of these. They are more hype to me than anything. It also has a major drying effect on my lips which I absolutely detest. I also hate how they separate in the container, it looks gross!!
*Top to Bottom*
Narcisiuss (I think I spelled that wrong, the name rubbed off)
Anime
Grandma
ChaCha
NSFW
Hoochie
Tarred (as you can see it's really watery and barely and black came out even after squishing it around in the tube.)
Feathered
Fantastic Payoff!!
I absolutely love the OCC Lip Tars! I bought them when they first came out in the bigger tubes and before they repackaged them (twice) and I still love them! They last forever and only a little bit goes a SUPER long way!! You can mix them to create your own colors! The sky is the limit with these! They go on like a gloss but dry satin. Very long wearing.
LIps will be blaz'n
Full coverage, awesome colors, high pigment.
This product has amazing range, since you can go extremely light, having it act more or less like a tint. And if you apply it fully, you can be sure heads will be turning, even on the streets of NYC. The full coverage is so intense, it is built more for runway, stage, or dramatic face paint. I have yet to use it any other place other than lips.
Plus you cant go wrong with a vegan line, also a pretty clean lipstick (as far as ingredients are concerned)
For a lighter look, apply extremely light and add a gloss, and your in business.
Hello Amazing!
I got a small sample of one of these, like, didn't even cover the bottom of the jar sample. At first I was like 'wow, how generous...' But once I dipped my brush in to apply it, I didn't even have to dip it in a second time. One tiny bit filled my lips completely! Even better, after it dried down, it lasted through an 8 hour work shift, with zero feathering (no lip liner either!) zero fading, and zero splotching. They're really a hassle-free lip product. I've fallen in love, and will soon purchase (hopefully) many of my own lip tars!
