Great quality and awesome price!
I must say if there is any lower-end cosmetic brand that is my favorite, it is definitely NYX! These eyeshadows are amazingly pigmented and many are great dupes for MAC eyeshadows!
I actually really love NYX cosmetics, and the eyeshadows are wonderful. Many of them have amazing pigmentation for the price and are nicely blendable. i have well over 20 single colours. I do however notice that some of the shadows are lacking pigment and are quite shimmery. The purple shadow is the only one i have an issue with, I have to really pack it on. I really love them for the price that they are, and me being an artist on a budget, these really make my life a little easier haha :) all in all, great shadows, great deal, great company
I love how pigmented these eyeshadows are, and the colour selection the only problem i found with them was their staying power, but i felt that i had to keep reapplying the colour in order for me to get the look i wanted.
great stuff for a drugstore brand
i especially like the silvers. they are very shimmery and great for pairing with black for a classic, high drama smoky look. i discovered these in a makeup store without even knowing they were actually a drugstore brand! they have more colours than any other brand ive seen and actually stay! especially with a primer but even without! and you can't beat the price.. you pay more than that at the drugstore for loreal colours that last half as long with half the pigment.. and there are some colours i havent found in other places!
Nice and soft
These eyeshadows are pretty nice and soft, blend easily and have decent pigmentation. They can be a bit too soft and can have some fallout. I have Exotic Green and Ocean Frost; Ocean Frost takes a few swipes to show up but is really pretty, and Exotic Green isn't as green or shimmery as it looks in the photos, but it's still nice as well. I'd say they're still worth the price you pay for them
I have "Rock" and "Nude" singles.
I love "Rock" because it's super pigmented and I love the matte black with flex, but it can have fallout when I try to put it in my lashline.
Nude is bleh since it's SO nude but not the nude I want! I wanted it as a blending color, but I wanted it matte but it has a sheen to it, when exaggerates growing eyebrow hairs big time.
The packaging is cool but the circle pans are better than squares because circles will hold products to the last bit. Squares not so much. I dab my brush on one little "stud" instead of in the center. and when I went in the store there was a lot of broken ones =(
NYX should really include finishes. All drugstore brands should really! hrmph. Especially revlon lipsticks that don't show the insides.
These can be a little hit-and-miss, but the ones I have, I absolutely love. They are pretty awesome in terms of pigmentation and staying power, and the texture is pretty soft too (not super soft, but decently soft). I think given the price these are a good buy.
