For the price, it doesn't get any better than this !
I have 4 of these, and taupe is the perfect contour on me, not to grey- not to brown/bronze. The other 3 is Amber, a matte dark pinky peach,-cinnamon, a strong matte orange, in the right amount really beautiful, an so pigmented.- Red -a blue/pinky-toned red, matte and insanely pigmented, a small amount gives the most natural flush of red to the cheeks. undetectable on the skin.
In my opinion Amber and red is the most wearable shades for all skintones. Cinnamon is amazing if you use it right. And Taupe is the fool-proof contour.
the only thing is the packedging, it could be better, but for the price, the product itself is awesome, and i'm very satisfied. I recommend these to anyone who ask me.
Pinched
I have only tried the blusher in "pinched" a peachy pink with golden shimmer. What I like about this is that even though it has shimmer it does not make me look overly shiny. The amount of shimmer is just right and the colour is a good match for fair skin. And it is really affordable. However it is not the most long lasting blush, at least not on my skin.
Good product for the price
The price of these blushes is great, and allows you to get a few shades.
I've noticed that the darker ones tend to be more pigmented, and can be a little difficult to blend in. The lighter ones do take a few swipes of the brush in order to get it to show up, but appear more blended.
My main complaint is the case that it comes in. Every single product that I've purchased from NYX in this case breaks. The lid just breaks off of it's hinge. I haven't had this problem with any other of my makeup products, so this can be a little frustrating since then I can't bring it with me when I travel.
I love the NYX brand and have quite a few of these blushes. I feel they are good quality. I like to apply with a stippling brush, i find that it picks up the product better giving me a better color payoff.
Ummmmm
This is an average blush to me. I like the way Milani goes on better. I find this goes on a little heavy and I have to work really hard to blend. I am also not sure that the Cinnamon really gives me what I am looking for. I read it was a dupe for Nars Taj blush. I am not so sure about that. I would purchase another NYX blush, but at the price point I would lean more toward Milani.
NYX blush in Espresso is a nice neutral color that really blends into my skin. On my skin complexion I do not get a really bold color pay off unless I build the color up so if I do not build the color up I will get more shimmer than color which is ok with me since I do not care for really bold blush anyway. This blush has a really soft smooth texture to it but not so soft to the point it breaks and crumbles up. So far I only have two of the NYX blushes but I will for sure be purchasing more of these blushes. NYX is a great alternative for a diva on a budget.
I have the cinnamon one and let me tell you guys, I absolute love it!! It is a pretty matte orange brush and at first I were afraid to get it cause I was scared it was not going to look nice on my cheeks but when I try it on, it look so pretty on my cheeks that I had to get it. I was gonna get another one to for a back up but they were out of it and lucky there was one left me. I was so happy. :)
Surprisingly good!
Though I have many of these blushes, I'm giving Cinnamon a specific mention because, at first glance, it's practically neon orange, but upon applying it I found that it's beautifully sheer. Creates a really warm glow, especially for my skin tone. My second favorite is probably Pinched (pale pink with a gold shimmer). I also have Cocoa & Red. I found that the red doesn't last as long as the others, but is beautiful for dramatic looks.
