I love using this as a base over my eyelid primer. It makes the shadow stay on longer in my opinion and helps enhance the color payoff and makes them brighter and more vivid. It only takes a tiny bit tho, if you use too much product it will crease and be hard to blend in. Needs an eyeshadow primer underneath to ensure that it stays on and stay in place. Can be hard to sharpen so I prefer to depot them into a container it makes everything easier. Overall I like them but some things could be improved.

Why didn't I buy these sooner?!

I have this in Milk, and Sparkle Green, and I LOVE them! When used with a primer, they stay exactly where they're supposed to, and don't crease on me. I use milk (like everyone does) as a base under eyeshadows to make them more vibrant, and it's amazing.
It goes on my eyelid so smoothly, and is easy to blend out however you want it to. Definitely have fallen in love with these.

Better used as a face highlight than as an all over lid color

This is a very recent purchase yet I've found a somewhat different use for it.

The eye pencils are obviously meant to go on your eyes yet I've found that I like to use this pencil as a face highlighter instead. It goes on smoother than powder highlighter and you can blend it in as much or as little as you would like.

I tried it once on my eyelids and was not very pleased because it looked weird blended out.

Overall, this pencil works better as a face highlighter (or inner corner highlighter) than an all over lid color, in my opinion.

You do have to use a special sharpener to sharpen the pencil but those are usually not hard to find. (Mine is from NYX.)

This is a pretty good product. I thought I'd try them to see what they were like so I got Rocky Moutain Green and purple velvet. I tried them as an eye shadow with the base and a green shadow on top. I worked pretty well but it still creased a little :( but other than that it was pretty good went on smooth and held the shadow well.

You get what you pay for!

These pencils are FANTASTIC for use on the inner corners and as a highlighter. As a lid color, however, they're just too greasy and tend to crease. I suggest picking up a shade like 'milk' or 'yogurt' to use as a highlighter instead of using a more potent shade as a main lid tint.

Milk and Lime

I have two in shades Milk and Lime. They work great as shadow base to intensify colors. I use lime before applying any green shadow and Milk before any white or pink shadow. They are very easy to use and inexpensive. Totally worth it :)

Great!

The NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow pencil is a great COLOR base, not as a primer or eyeshadow primer. I use mine frequently to act as a gel eyeliner, and it works great. If you use it like I do, it can appear greasy/shiny, so I usually apply some powder eyeshadow over it to matify the texture. But overall, get this product!

Of course I'd heard from friends that these jumbo pencils were awesome, so I decided to get one and try for myself. O.M.G. I just love it. Like everyone else said, it is a wonderful base, and excellent for highlighting. It goes on so creamy and smooth. I got the cottage cheese which is like a pearl-off white, it's really beautiful. I look forward to trying all the other colors!

Alright

I love love love the colors and application of these, but after a few hours it seeps into your eye's creases and faded everywhere else. It works great in your eye's inner corners!! Brightens eyes up!

Great For Bright Eyeshadows

This product is great when using it as a base under bright eyeshadows. i also use the color milk on my waterline. the only thing i suggest not using this for is never use the black in your waterline or as any eyeliner because the formula of this product is very soft and will basically melt off of your eye and you will look like a racoon (:
but besides that, this product is amazing and worth the purchase.
