Very Pigmented, All you need for a neutral everyday eye look

All NYX eyeshadow colors are very pigmented and good quality. I reach for this trio in Dune quite a bit, it has every color you need for a neutral everyday eye look. I sometimes use the lightest color in this trio all over my lid with a primer, and then I am out the door.

The formula of these has absolutely improved over the years! I used to not like some of them (the light purples) because of pigmentation issues, but I find that that isn't the case anymore. I wish I had more of these! I threw away a palette a year or so ago and I'm kicking myself for it. I also had Golden/Rust/Walnut and I loved that gold color. I don't have an issue with staying power for these, though sometimes they can have a bit of fallout. I recommend applying these with a primer. I use UDPP, and sometimes a NYX jumbo pencil to supplement the color.

Worth it just for the beautiful shade of Orange!

I have quite a few NYX trios but the Shangri-La trio is my favorite. All three shades have excellent color payoff and blend really well. There is also a nice contrast between the three colors making a perfect "on the go" palette. I am a huge fan of the burnt Orange shade in this palette. The pigmentation on it is superb!

Best Quick Small Everyday Shadows

I bought the trio in Dune. It has a shimmery light creme shade, satin light terracotta shade, and a matte medium warm brown shade. I love using this palette for a pinup twist, or fast out the door look with smudged eyeliner. The pigmentation is great. There is fallout, but I just tap my brush back into the pan and it's fine!

I have been so pleased to learn that NYX Trios are on par with the Smashbox Trios , Mac Shadows & even Nars color sticks, shadows & blushes.

I first used NYX eyeshadow when I was traveling & forgot my make up bag. The only make up available was NYX. I was apprehensive but gave it a try & was beyond "Thrilled" w/ the results. I literally couldn't tell the difference between my expensive shadows & NYX.
So much so, that I wore NYX make up during 14 hours of labor 3 hours of pushing & topped the evening off with an emergency c-section and as God and about 3 doctors & many nurses.... That Make up including the lipstick didn't budge. I have been a NYX lover & wearer since the day my daughter was born.

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but I've never been able to get these shadows to work well for me. They swatch so pigmented and great, but as soon as I try to use them in a make up look, it just doesn't work. Some of the shadows seem so flaky and chalky, and others take so much effort to pack on and show up. There are individual colors in the palettes I like, but I've never bought a palette and loved every single color. =/

M.A.C. who??

OMG I'm so in love with this trios!! I have Aloha/Mink Brown/ Deep Brown, Rock & Roll & Barely There/ Champagne/ Root Beer. They are great quality, can't beat the price and some have better pigmentation than the M.A.C. eyeshadows. I bought them cause I saw they were dupes and they were right on. I'm raving about them to my friends. GET THEM!!!!!

I LOVE this trio, i got it a year ago and i love it. I use it over a eye shadow primer and it is amazing! It stays on an entire day, and at the same time the colors seem so pigmented. So a small amont goes a long way, and compared to the price these eyeshadows are AMAZING!

I bought a bunch of these trios about 2 years ago and I was not impressed with their quality at all, They are very chalky and not pigmented in my opinion. The NYX single eyeshadows are 100 times better.
