I own the pink and purple duet and the product wasn't the best. I gotta say the purple is more pigmented than the pink and they do look good in the light. Very cheap though.

I have the pink and purple one, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality given my crappy experience with other NYC products. The colours aren't highly pigmented or truly vibrant but they do look good and stay on well enough, especially if combined with a base. With a bit more patience you can get a pretty strong look out of it. Good value for the money.

Good shadows!

I bought these in yellow/orange and white/black, and they're all great except for the yellow. I wish the color was stronger, but oh well! They were super cheap and I'll probably buy more n__n

Amazing color

I love these vibrant colors. They stay on all day for me . I use the Upper Zest Side (812),Bowling Green (812), and the NYC Mono eyeshadow In Vogue 910, I used all of them together and they stayed on all day and were very vibrant. They go on rather smoothly and feel really light. All in all I love them and give them an A- cause you have to mist your brush a bit to get the yellow to really pop.

the pigment of the colors are amazing and i love it sooo much nyc cosmetics are now my favorite brand of make up next to wet n wild. I love the island sunset, gorgeous and the upper zest side is great but the yellow color i was disappointed with it, the pigment is not dark enough, i wish it was more darker to show the yellow on my hand.

I just found out about these awesome eye shadows and let me tell you I love them... They were affordable and the color pay off is awesome... Every time I go to the drug store I am in there trying to find some good makeup finds and I have to say these are wonderful.. I use too faced shadow insurance to start then nyx jumbo pencil in milk then the colors and I have to say they look amazing

I love this eyeshadow

I have it in Island Sunset (the one in the picture above). I love love love the pink in this duo, it is highlight pigmented and a perfect bright pink. The purple on the other hand, is very dark and does NOT blend well at all. It ends up very muddy looking, even with a primer and a white base underneath. Just not thrilled with it all. But it still gets 5 stars for the perfect pink!
