Doesn't Live Up to the Hype.

Don't get me wrong, they're fine. They removed all of my makeup nicely... but that's kind of it. It stung to remove my under-eye concealer and mascara, let alone the few times I actually accidentally got it into my eyes -- and at the end of the day, I'm too tired to be careful and precise about something like where I put my makeup-removing wipes! I've definitely tried better.

50/50 for me

Firstly, I'm not a fan of scented skincare products, especially ones that are supposed to clean your face.... but this was an exception. Idk what it is, but TO ME, it was a pleasant, fresh scent :o) The texture of these towelletes are amazingly soft & thick and just the right amount of moisture -- no tearing, pulling, or drying out after 2 swipes (*cough*garnier*cough*). It literally ate through all my waterproof mascara, liner, shadows, foundation, EVERYTHING!

I was a complete fan UNTIL... I felt my face afterwards. My skin felt oily/greasy =T I still use these, cuz it does an amazing job at removing my make-up, but I still have to wash my face after w/ a cleanser (well, I almost always do w/ any make-up remover). Luckily, that greasy residue feeling doesn't break me out or anything, but still. That's really the only reason I gave this 3.5 stars.

Good, does what it claims!

I think this product is good and does mostly what it claims to do but there really isn't anything special about it. It takes a few swipes to get all of my makeup off my face (not one like the ad says lol). I probably went through 4 or 5 packs of these but now I'm onto a different makeup wipe.

Decent...

These towelettes were "ok". I purchased them because they were on sale and for $3...I figured even if I didn't like them, oh well b/c it was better than spending my normal $8.

The upside: They get the job done, I didn't have the residue problems like some of the others that have tried it and they smell pretty good too. Not too fragrant...just right.

Downside: I found that with my liquid liner and waterproof mascara, it took a little longer to come off. Also, I found myself using about three sometimes which I hate. I love wipes where I only have to use one or two.

They work pretty well

These get my makeup off pretty easily...I haven't tried them on water-proof mascara though....The smell bugs me a little, but not enough to stop using them and I don't care for the way my face feels after I use them...still a pretty decent product though.

Just OK

After hearing a bunch of hype about these, I gave them a try and thought they were just ok. It did a decent job of removing my makeup, but like many other reviewers, I felt it left a residue on my face. I would love to find a wipe that would save me the hassle of washing my face after on those nights when I just get too tired to bother.

Good

Good product, it takes off all of your makeup, the only downside is that when it gets in your eye it burns...like very badly. I would say buy it, just be careful!

i love this product because it really gets the job done, but i do find that it doesnt get the heavy duty mascara that i use off to an extent, it works but if i wiped my face them used a tissue and swiped down my eye i would have makeup smuged on my face and on the tissue...i do use this product, and i dont think i would switch because i do like it..it doesnt burn my eyes which is HUGE, and i really do like it...but i use a different face makeup remover because i dont feel this really helps my face feel fully clean, sometimes my face even feels sticky after this, but i do use it over and over, i do think its worth it

I've bought these a couple of time just because they seem to be the standard drugstore wipe that everyone buys. To me, this felt too oily and seemed to leave a residue on my skin. They did remove my makeup well, but the left over product on my face makes me not willing to repurchase.

Average

I saw a lot of hype about these makeup removing wipes which is why I decided to try them. I find that they don't remove makeup better than any other makeup wipe. The wipe is too small and it will definitely take you at least 2 to completely remove a full face of makeup. I also don't like that you only get 25 wipes in the pack, I feel like that's a small quantity compared to other brands at a similar price. I don't think I will repurchase these again, simply because I can most likely find something cheaper that works the same or works better at the same price. As a side note, I do prefer the Night Calming version over these.

Now that I think about it, what you're saying makes complete sense. It gets pretty expensive.
